Oh Phoenix7 how awful, I'm so sorry. Hope you've got a good supportive network around you at this time x
Am about to set off with OH (in the thunder, hail and torrential rain no less!) to tell his parents our news. Am very nervous! Bit tired too, went for a walk around the shops this afternoon to get some exercise and it wiped me out. I've had a stitch at the side of my belly button all day too and nothing will get rid of it, v annoying...0 -

Just got home - yup you're right - cyclizine hydrochloride it says on the pack. They did actually really help, but even though my doctor prescribed them for me I am reluctant to go for a second course of them because on the pack it says don't take when pregnant unless absolutely necessary so I've got it in my head that they aren't great for baby? Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T
Maternity leave fund: £3000/£6000 :T0 -

Its difficult because the sickness can become so severe you end up on an iv in hospital (speaking from experience ) which is also not good for you or baba.
I have attached a link for a good website which has useful hints and tips.

I didn't manage to abstain from eating crisps. Got really hungry/queasy whilst working this morning and so had a packet of ready salted. They always work to make me feel better. I hate to say it but I loved every mouthful as well. I really wish lettuce leaves had the same effect!!0 -
Phoenix - Im really sorry. I really hope its positive news next week. Thinking of you at this difficult time xxx0

I took 3 packets of them.
I couldn't keep water or ice lollies down - and sometimes even on the tablets I couldn't, so if I hasn't taken them I would have got really ill. Once I started to keep bits down I took less of them.
I researched them and couldn't find anything bad.
Ignore the leaflet inside I think it just says that like any other medication will as they don't test stuff on pregnant women. But if you read studies on women who took it it shows no ill effects.0 -
