  • Does anyone know howvto calculate your dye datev without knowing when your last period was? I dont have periods, got my positive 4 weeks and 3 days ago, having got a negative a week before that. I therefore think that I must be about 6 weeks, but struggling to work out when I'm due!

I'd actually guess closer to eight or nine weeks (positive two weeks after ovulation plus the two weeks you're not really pregnant plus four, nearly five weeks to today).

If you want the nuchal fold testing done, you need to get a scan done pretty soon after your midwife appointment...

That sounds complicated! Im not planning on having any tests done, dont really see the point: if theres something wrong its wrong it wont change my views on or feelings towards the baby at all.

Hi - hope you are all ok. I am still suffering - I made it through the wedding at the weekend, just about!

I am 8+1 today - scan next Thursday which is a private one - just for reassurance. I am absolutly petrified.

Goodness, how did I get to the top of the list so quick??
Apologies for being away with the fairies a lot lately, Frog has been very demanding but I will get a little respite soon as she starts nursery tomorrow afternoon :)

2 afternoon a week and I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to it!!! I have plans already for the next 4 sessions :) including having my hair cut, having a pedicure and pulling out my sewing machine to finish her advent calendar that I've been working on (and off) since February :)

Congrats to the new thread residents, so lovely to see all the new names on the list!!

Twigpig (if you're still lurking occasionally) - congrats on the scan

Mrs Happy and Trinity - welcome and congratulations.

Samtoby - sorry you are still feeling so rubbish. Are you off work?

Marywoohyeah - did you find out if work would fund your course?

Afm, a bit worried really as all my symptoms have totally disappeared in the last couple of days. Was previously feeling nauseous, sore b00bs, extremely tired and bloated, but now don't feel like I'm PG at all. Bit worrying. Seeing the midwife on Thursday for the first time so will see what she says. OH keeps trying to get me to call the drs, but there's nothing they can do at this stage if there's a problem is there, so I can't see the point stressing myself out more x

Oh becsxxx. I hope all is ok. Some people only suffer for a short time with sickness etc.

Afm - petrified. I had some discharge earlier a bit like you get before your ovulation but it was slightly pink. I have tests tomorrow at hospital for my iron so I will mention it as I will be in the antenatal unit.

    Remaining positive xx

Yay, finally got my midwife appointment! Rang up again today and no one answered when the receptionist put me through to the midwives. So I rang back and asked the receptionist to pass on my name and number. A midwife called me back and after I'd explained why I was calling she said 'oh, didn't you get the letter, you're booked in at the clinic at 3pm on Thursday...' Good job I can sort the time off work at the last minute!
