Sure am. It actually has come around pretty quickly. Really want to tell the family now. My scan is at 9am so no hanging around all day at least. Hubby treating me to a date afterwards (assuming of course that everything is fine) so might be posting back a bit later in the day. Date = cinema and lunch. Oh, how adventurous we are these days :rotfl:

Baby Bond at Mothercare on Castle Marina (http://www.ultrasound-direct.com/babybond-pregnancy-scans/) is where I'm going and seemed to have good reviews on t'internet. I'm going the day before I'll be 9 weeks but they have a helpful timeline to help you book and recommend 7-11 weeks. HTH

I have heard good things about baby bond in general but know someone who went to the mothercare one. Although it was separate to the actual shop they could hear customers and staff walking around and tannoy announcements etc so it wasnt very private.

Sorry I didn't have a chance to update yesterday

Had the scan done, on the external they could only see the sac so had to do an internal one.

He looked at the screen and said ah yes there's your baby
He said all is well xx

Morning everyone,

Midwife yesterday went well sophiasmum, she was so kind and pretty surprised to see me so fast! She talked to me about mc and reassured me and I did feel better walking out with my notes. She has also given me her mobile number to text her after my 12 week scan which I think is very nice.

She did a form for bloods to be done in the antenatal clinic on Tuesday as I am poorly she wants to check the iron levels and she has done the form for my scan request and she said she will put some notes on about the history. I felt she was very good.

Sophiasmum - good luck with your Midwife appointment today.
