    Morning everyone

Chelseablue - thinking of you today, hope all goes well xxx

Debs0778 - good luck for your scan later too

Mysecretalias - glad you are getting an early scan and feeling a bit calmer too. I've also heard you can change hospital after the initial decision - you just have to push for it. We haven't told anyone yet apart from one friend about to have her wedding. Can't wait to tell our parents in a couple of weeks after our private reassurance scan.

Samtoby - sorry you are still feeling so rubbish

Gopppers/Twigpig - I'm still on knickerwatch too! Still irregularly getting the twinges/little cramps and am quite used to them now.

Vickyvics - I'm the same with sleep! Am a bit worried about this weekend as I'm at an all day/night hen do on Saturday! I've told the bride to be and she's perfectly fine about it, but am worried about keeping up without a nap!!!!

AND, does everyone remember last week when I was worried I had no symptoms and was pretty much wishing for nausea???!!!! Yeah, what an idiot. Have it now and it's vile!!!!!!! Haven't actually been sick but am feeling like I want to be several times a day, and just generally a bit poorly and run down. Bleeeeurgh!

Becsxxx Im sorry your feeling so poorly. I find crackers or breadsticks to be amazing things while I feel like that. Often I feel sick when I feel hungry and they help to hold off the hunger without filling me off. Toast does the same thing but seems to stop me from wanting my next meal (where all my nutrition is). Hope it helps xx
  • Good morning ladies,

So I hit 12 weeks yesterday! 4 days earlier than expected!! We went for an 11 week scan at the clinic and it turns out the baby was too big to be 11 weeks so the midwife moved my 12 week point to earlier this week which was brilliant :T:T

Scan was lovely, baby was full of beans and moving around, we even saw the little hand go up to the face which was sooooo cute. Got some great pictures.

So we're booked in for the nucal scan and blood test next week, which will be the next hurdle to get through. But for the moment I've graduated to the next stage, whoooo hoooo! :j:j:j

    Morning girls,

Well the sickness goes on....I feel pants. I have the midwife today so I am looking forward to that but might have to warn her when I go in. I think she is going to be a bit shocked to see me again so fast and I hope she will be able to calm me down a bit after my mc.

Hope all those feeling a little sick are feeling ok today - I have found that heavy sugar drinks are really helping me but they don't help the other end. And you need to keep eating lol.

    Hi ladies,
Just a quick post asking about the reassurance scans. I'm thinking that I would really like to get one done but I am not sure where the best place to go is. I'm another Nottingham lady. Does anyone have any experience of using any particular companies? I am currently 7+4 so when would be a good time to get one done. I don't really want to have one too early to be of any use xx

Hi Vickyvics - thanks for the tips. Ready salted crips are going down best at present!

Baby Bond at Mothercare on Castle Marina (http://www.ultrasound-direct.com/babybond-pregnancy-scans/) is where I'm going and seemed to have good reviews on t'internet. I'm going the day before I'll be 9 weeks but they have a helpful timeline to help you book and recommend 7-11 weeks. HTH

Well I can honestly say I'll never forget today, what a truly amazing experience!!

Baby is just perfect, very active - like a little jumping bean. Dated as 12 weeks exactly so due date now 17/4.

Looks like I'll be moving on then, so good luck everyone. See you all on the next thread xxx
