Hope everyone is having a lovely Saturday.

Mrshappy Congratulations on your BFP. Welcome to the thread xx

Marywooyeah Thats an amazing weight-loss. Congratulations.

Sophiasmum Hunger is definitely a trigger for me as well. I've been having to have a couple of crackers (kept in a sandwich bag on my bedside table) in the early hours of the morning. Otherwise when I wake up the sick feeling just gets increasingly worse until I can't stop heaving. A couple of crackers seems to help me keep it at bay and help me to fall asleep easier.

AFM I'm feeling so bloated. My trousers are feeling rather tight, esp in the evening. I swear I gain a couple of inches around my tummy in the course of day. I was thinking I should really think about some new clothes but it feels like I'm tempting fate. Is anyone else feeling bloated?

Mrshappy, can't tell you how happy I am to see you over here :D

P.s. Anyone know why some of the threads are locked? (ttc, ttc 12m+, 12-24wk etc)

BZ I think a forum mod person set up new threads for all the pregnancy boards but did it wrong so someone else is doing new versions. That's what's happened with the TTC thread I think.

Hi Vickyviks - Im bloated...I went and bought 2 new pairs of leggings - Ive given up on my jeans! I can just about get away with leggings and a long top for work with my boots and they are so....comfortable!

Felt awful all day yesterday - couldn't summon up the energy to do anything. Honestly think its easier to be in work than home with 2 children! Actually threw up in the evening... yuk. Just had a lovely nights sleep though and am feeling ok this morning, so will see what the day will bring.
  • Hello ladies! Do you mind if I join you? I'm officially a day late and have been getting BFPs for the last 6 days :) Just wondering do I make my GP appointment asap or should I wait a bit? Sorry its all new to me and we were only on our second cycle so happened a lot quicker than I thought it would!

Congratulations!! It depends on your GP surgery, I know some ladies are told to make a GP appointment whereas some are told to make a mw appointment at however many weeks. I saw my GP and she just congratulated me checked my blood pressure, did a medication review as I did take hayfever meds. The GP gave me a phone number to ring to book my 10 wk scan and a huge booklet to fill in. Where I am they don't do pregnancy tests as they say shop bought are good enough (another money saving measures!!)

Best thing is to ring your GP surgery and find out what they do where you are :)

Does anyone know howvto calculate your dye datev without knowing when your last period was? I dont have periods, got my positive 4 weeks and 3 days ago, having got a negative a week before that. I therefore think that I must be about 6 weeks, but struggling to work out when I'm due!

I guess to be 100% sure you'd need to have a scan. But if you think you could be six weeks then simply counting on a calendar to 40 weeks makes you due 1st June (if you are six weeks today for example, and counting on another 34 Sundays...)
