Yay, finally got my midwife appointment! Rang up again today and no one answered when the receptionist put me through to the midwives. So I rang back and asked the receptionist to pass on my name and number. A midwife called me back and after I'd explained why I was calling she said 'oh, didn't you get the letter, you're booked in at the clinic at 3pm on Thursday...' Good job I can sort the time off work at the last minute!

What's the betting the letter was posted with second class post and will arrive on Thursday ;)

Bexx - I get days of absolutely no symptoms (yesterday) but days of sickness (Saturday) and today Im thirsty and have had a nagging headache all day. Try not to stress yourself - I think our bodies are going through so much that its all a bit erratic!

SamToby - mention it tomorrow def. Hoping its just a bit of 'clearing out'!

Marywooyeah - When you say you don't have periods what do you mean? Literally?

Well you know how you lot bleed from your foofs every month? Well I don't! Haha sorry dont know how else to explain it! Thought I was infertile anyway as I had pid that wasnt diagnosed for over 4 years. Came off the pill in april and nothing happened so was going to go back on but we decided to give it a few more weeks and got a positive.

Ahem. Well I searched through the big pile of junk mail by the front door when we got in and it was there... My husband doesn't do mail. He either steps over it or just picks it up and dumps it in the pile, and never tells me if I have any post... And I didn't think to check as last time around they rang me about the appointment. Anyway, I'm an idiot. :)

Oh and the postmark says 24th sept so it's clearly been there for ages...

I have hospital today having bloods tested but as I am in the Antenatal unit I will mention the discharge I have had.

Marywooyeah- that's remarkable you don't have periods and got pregnant so fast.

Thanks for the reassurance everyone. Had a pretty sleepless night worrying about it all, but then totally out of nowhere today at work had to run to the loo to be sick A LOT! Euuuuuuurgh, but in a completely bizarre way, pleased again! God, this pregnancy lark is very contrary isn't it??!?

Hope you are all feeling ok.

Samtoby - hope you get some reassurance today

    Hello everyone, 8+2 today!!

Becsxxx I'm in a similar situation where my symptoms of easing up and I am trying not to worry. I wouldn't wish sickness on anyone but I am glad todays bout has reassured you a little. I had no idea how to write that without it sounding wierd :rotfl:

Samtoby Good luck with your appointment today. xxx

Phoenix7 We have the exact same pile of letters near our front door and when it gets too large we push it into the drawer below until that can't be shut anymore. Then we are forced to sort it out and we make all kinds of discoveries.

AFM I am pretty much an emotional wreck and am crying at pretty much anything. I don't think my poor hubby knows what has hit him. At the weekend I saw that Bambi was on so that was a huge no no.

    Happy Tuesday everyone xx
