Well just back from the Antenatal unit. They decided as this pregnancy is straight off the back of a missed miscarriage and my dodgy discharge they would scan me. I was petrified. But there was a little bean exactly on dates, heart fluttering away. No signs of any bleeds or previous bleeds so just put it down to settlement in the uterus.

I have had bloods taken for Iron etc so I am very relieved to be writing that I really am 8+2 weeks pregnant - it doesn't seem real though. So happy.

Funny though - I saw someone I knew in the unit and it was kind of uncomfortable. I am hoping she doesn't spread it about - but then I am sure it is not public knowledge she is pregnant so hopefully she won't.

Becsxxx - glad the sickness is back.

VickyVics - I watched Marley and me. BIG mistake. I was a blubbering wreck. Also watched Midwives on BBC 2 - also a big mistake.

Phoenix7- Glad you found your letter!

Sophiasmum - Are you going for a reassurance scan?

Goppers - How are you getting on?

    xx

Pfft when does this 'please be nice to newbies' sign go away? I'm using a new username as I have RL friends who use this board who may know my other alias, so set this one up so I could post...

    Excellent news Sam Toby. :)

Really not sure about a reassurance scan - not sure it would 'reassure' me ! I was 9 weeks when I miscarried so a scan before then would not reassure me I dont think.... I cant decide!
the midwife was fab and reckons I only have about 3% chance of miscarrying (think that was what she said) I love stats.
Though had a constant stitch like pain today in my right side - hoping itll go!

Hello ladies - not been on here for a good few weeks, went on holiday for a fortnight and then with feeling sick/tired I've not really had much time. Got my booking in appointment tomorrow - I'll be 10+3 and then my scan is 24th October :D My bump is pretty big compared to my 1st pregnancy but thankfully my sickness has not been as bad x
