I'm getting more nervous by the day about my scan on Tuesday and also found out I may have to go alone OH work being !!!!!! saying they will let him know ' tomorrow' have said that since Monday this week, my mum can't go as she has a hospital appointment of her own elsewhere and all my friends work

Our scan is Wednesday - getting so excited now! As bf only works mornings he'll be taking me

Not a clue how I'm going to tell work though! I mean how am I supposed to tell the executive director that I'm pregnant and will be due to start maternity leave around the time of a big project I'll be involved in (I still want to be involved and will still attend on the day even if I've already started mat leave as I want to see all our hard work come good!)

Scan went well this morning, although baby was lying the wrong way and sonographer couldn't get the nuchal measurement. She tried for almost an hour, bless her. I had the same problem with DD1.

Will need to have a quadravalent blood test at 16 weeks instead.

I'm almost bang on my estimated dates, at 13weeks +4.

Has worked out .. okay. They are letting him have half the day off but its unpaid. Can't complain too much I guess. For the first time ever I want the weekend to fly in !!

yep would rather be down a days wages than go alone for sure !!
Fingers crossed all goes well as I plan on going back to work afterwards, got a team meeting so if all is well I will let everyone know then. OH gets the full day off so he can get the housework done and walk the dog

Congratulations on the recent scans ladies and welcome newbies!!

Got my scan date in for 03/10, I'll be 12+6 then, still seems ages away. I'd asked for a late afternoon appointment so OH could be there but appointment is 10.45. Had hoped to keep our news to ourselves until after the scan now thinking of telling mum early so she can come.....all that matters is a healthy baby so I shouldn't moan although OH is gutted

Will stick around here until my scan on Wednesday though - hope that's OK :-)

I am feeling fine today, was up and down in the night for the loo but I'm OK with that. Sorry for this tmi but have just been to. the loo and my discharge was a little different. Not a lot just a little but I'm worried it was a bad sign - I'm sure you can all tell I'm prone to worrying/over thinking everything but I don't know at what point I should consider messaging the midwife/calling the community midwives to reassure myself. I'm positive it's nothing it's just my mind playing tricks but...it's not nice worrying is it!
