Marywooyeah - welcome - the ladies on the pregnancy thread were wondering if you got a BFP and that is why you left! How pregnant are you?

Lushlifesaver - I don't think anytime is too early to contact a Midwife abut anything. I reckon I will be a nightmare this time around. I will panic about every single thing, not enough signs too many etc. If you are at all concerned give a call. Was is bloody or just heavy? I think you more likely to get Thrush in pregnancy.

Thanks Debs - I still very shocked and won't believe it until I see it type thing. Not long until your scan but I know the wait when you are only a few weeks of day by day goes quote slow. I remember counting the hours before mine. And the minutes before I went in!

I have a dull ache in my tummy but I can't see to go for a number 2 very well so I wonder if it is that. I am remaining positive that its just bean making itself comfortable.

Con1888 - Hope OH gets a lot of jobs done on his day off!

Thanks, he has been instructed to get a haircut in the morning :rotfl: makes me sound controlling, i'm not but it's a mess and he is lazy and won't go unless pushed! Then he can walk the dog and make the dinner afterwards :)

I'm nervous/excited so worried things will go wrong but excited if they don't and we get to see baby, think it will be more 'real' then and we will tell people.

When do people start to buy things? We need EVERYTHING as it will be our first. Family may have a moses basket or something and they will help out with things but going to need lots and lots.
  • I feel the same Con. I'm so worried about the scan on Thursday, I'm so scared that something will be wrong. But if all goes well then I think it might finally feel real!

I think the worry must be normal, have never had a bad experience nor has anyone I know and the baby wasn't planned but I worry sooo much that I will go and something will be wrong. Going to be a very nervous morning on Tuesday. My team leader at work knows ans she has been great, I was feeling lightheaded on Friday and was in work late as had been sick all morning but hadn't ate yet and she told me to go eat something, have a drink and come back when I feel better :) so she will understand if my head is a mess on Tuesday.

    !

Oh I didnt realise I didnt want to be insensitive as some of them have been trying for so long I didnt want to upset anyone. I don't know how far I am as I don't have periods so have no dates to go by. No bump though so must be quite early still.

I got my pram today - a pliko pramette mimi with a matching nappy bag and still sealed parasol, paid £75 for the lot! Am thrilled!

It is still your BFP Marywooyeah. Great news - might be worth asking the Dr or Midwife to send you for a dating scan so you don't miss the checks at 12 weeks think they can be done between 11 and 14 but might be different for your area. I would love to look at prams but I dare not. I am not aware of the brand but last time I looked at prams was nearly 10 years ago!!!!!!

con1888 - It is completely natural to feel like that. I do hope Tuesday comes quick for you.

laurabllue - Hope Thursday comes quick for you!

Eiteews - You have the same wait as me but mine is to go and see the Dr and yours is for your scan :)

AFM - My tummy is dodgy and I am weeing all the time. Maybe these are both pregnancy signs. I think I would be 5 weeks tomorrow by my guess.

    xx

I have looked at dates though so when I would be at 12 weeks most probably and when I would be at 20 weeks because those are the scans. But every day will be a milestone tbh. And where are my symptoms I want them yesterday - I know some do not get them every pregnancy but I want them! I keep weeing though. And I have a dodgy tummy.

I'm sorry I'm not sure what the first part of your first sentence means! I dont have a midwife as I work fulltime and cannot take timw off so probably will just look forba private scan/midwife in a few months when I have a visible bump.

Mamas ana papas do nice prams, silver cross are good too. Might be worth going round mothercare and trying out the display ones till you find one that feels right for you x

Mary your work has to by law give you time to see a midwife/dr.
