  • Thanks samtoby I dropped the midwife a text and she reassured me about everything ad just said if it changes any further then to give the epu a call.

We bought our pram system really early on, it's now in bf's mum's loft! It's a great set from Kiddicare and was down from over £300 to just shy of £100! Plus will really work for us as bf won't use it and it's one I can actually put up/down/etc! We also have a baby carrier for bf as we were worried about getting one he can do - we thought it would end up at the top of the price scale (>£100) but luckily it was just £15!!

We can't wait to start decorating the baby's room but for now we're keeping ourselves busy with browsing, getting ideas together and sorting the rest of the house!

Mary your work has to by law give you time to see a midwife/dr.

Hi thank you I know I'm just not able to take time off my job is too busy I often dont have timw for a lunch break as I have so much to do. I'm not planning to tell my employers for as long as possible either as I'm trying to get them to pay post graduate course for me which obviously they wont do if they know I'm pregnant.

I need a midwife who can do weekend and evening appts so private is looking like the best option for me. But anyway alll that is a bit premature as I dont know how many weeks I am yet so we will be booking a dating scan in due course.

Still feeling sick in the mornings til I eat, which is fine on weekdays but not good at weekends when I want a long lie and am forced to get up by 8am to eat :( Hope this goes away soon!!
  • Hey :)

I'm not sure if I'm joining you all yet but I have some questions & was hoping someone could help me out?

If I am pregnant then we only conceived roughly 2 weeks ago, obviously no test can tell me if I am or not but have been feeling extra tired & nauseous plus have period like pains (but not as bad). I don't know if this should be happening or if I've jusr tricked myself into feeling all of this as I so badly want to be pregnant!

Any help or advice would be so much appreciated!

PS Congrats to everyone who is expecting!

    Xx

Only a test can tell you for definite, clearblue do early tests which pick up pregnancy before your period is due.

Eiteews - You have the same wait as me but mine is to go and see the Dr and yours is for your scan :)

I have looked at dates though so when I would be at 12 weeks most probably and when I would be at 20 weeks because those are the scans. But every day will be a milestone tbh. And where are my symptoms I want them yesterday - I know some do not get them every pregnancy but I want them! I keep weeing though. And I have a dodgy tummy.

samtoby we'll be playing the waiting game together then :)

Never before have I wished the end of the summer away so much... and I'm a winter hater!

My symptoms have been much more mild the past few days, I know they're supposed to ease off at some point but I just wish it wasn't coinciding which the exact time I started bleeding last time. Extreme tiredness seems to be the strongest one right now. I keep telling myself there's nothing I can do anyway so it's pointless to worry so much but I don't seem to be listening to my own advice!
Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.

Hey everyone, just popping in to see how everyone is....

con1888 - Hope your scan goes well on Tuesday. Hope your sickness has stopped. I feel a bit icky in the mornings before I eat, so I can sympathise..... :)

claire16c - I hope you've stopped fainting. That is not a great side effect of pregnancy :rotfl: Glad your scan went well. Love the pic, what a cute little nose!

lushlifesaver - Loved your ham sandwich story, tee hee. Glad your hubby is nesting, maybe he can come round and do all my decorating too ;) Did that weird discharge stop for you?

sjlou - Glad that your beige diet is improving, lol. Congrats on your scan too. Hope to follow you to 12+ soon :)

larablue - good luck for Thursday ;)

vickyvics - welcome  Pleased telling your OH went as well as you'd hoped. :)

samtoby - So thrilled to see you back! :D Congrats.
