I'm ok Becca, had quite a few stretching type feelings today which is a good thing, but then got a load of cm when we were out & I was terrified it was bleeding & was a while before I could get somewhere to check.

I'm thinking more about booking a scan for 9 weeks to try to take some pressure off. Although then I don't know if it would be worse if something went wrong after.

I keep switching between being really happy & absolutely terrified. People who we've told keep talking about the baby coming & I feel like I don't really believe it.

Symptom wise I now seem to be switching from diahrea & the opposite all day! And so gassy! And still the bubbly tummy feeling if I don't eat for a while.

Got my scan at 9.45 this morning, excited to see baby again!

I know how you feel about people talking about babies when you don't quite feel it's real yet Claire, both sets of parents have talked about nothing else since we told them and whilst it's nice that they're excited, when you're nervous and apprehensive it's not exactly the perfect topic of conversation!

Hi all,
Really glad we are back up and running..

I don't seem to have any symptoms now :-( so that's worrying in itself.. :-(

Have got a 1st midwife appt 13. August.. But a scan date has just come through for 27 September!! Which to me seems too far away???

We will want the tests for Down syndrome as my mums brother had a child with it and we wouldn't want to bring a child into the world with it... Also cause of my age - guessing a higher than normal risk?

Do any of you think the scan seems too far away?

Hi becca, I thought the doc said to me a week ago she was classing me as 5 weeks, yet an app I have says with last period at 25-6 then I am 4 weeks six days.. Xx

So you'll be about 13 weeks when your scan is then? Have you got a number you could ring to rearrange? X

That's what I had to do too! They gave me a scan date for when I'm on holiday!
