Long day at work today, nearly 9.5 hours, so I'm currently trying not to vomit on the tube. Sorry I haven't read today's posts yet but I'll catch up at home. However I just wanted to ask how any of you in London got your Bounty pack and how quick you were seen by your midwife?Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

Away from the forum for a couple of days and there are so many posts to catch up on!
Will read through them all later, in the meantime I need a little rant... nothing fits me anymore and I can't find any maternity clothes in decent sizes - going to be a long 9 months I think0 -
We were NTNP, I came off the pill back in April but haven't had a period since. I'm booked in for blood tests next week but thought I should maybe do a test just in case as I didn't want to look silly.
It was positive.
I'm in complete shock, I don't know what to do with myself! Just been out to buy a clear blue to double check but the line on the Boots one was really strong.
I've been bloated a bit and had some funny stretching pains over the last couple of days. I also had that sneezing pain someone mentioned a few pages back but apart from that I feel fine.
Completely knocked for 6...just trying to fill up my bladder to do the clear blue to see if it's really true!0 -

Good evening everyone,
Birdie - Congrats on a great scan.
Becca - Hope you can get your dates for your scan sorted. Are you away for 2 weeks?
Jox - Good luck with your appointment. I hope you scan date comes through quickly. Remind them of your history to try and get the date through quicker;)
Laurabllue - Congratulations. Let the madness begin:D
Had my 12 week scan today. Everything went well. Little one was kicking and squirming like mad. Decided at the last moment to decline the NT test. My age will put me in the high risk category and after seeing him/her squirming around I knew there was no way in hell I could ever terminate. We are getting what we get and we will love it regardless. Think getting a high risk score will just cause unneccesary stress.
Will be moving on now. Thanks for all your chat and support. Very best of luck with your little ones.

Thanks everyone
firefly, that's a brilliant pic, glad all is well
Not getting my hopes up as I'm a constant pessimist but going to try and relax a bit about it all.
Just been googling - they date your pregnancy from the last period, is that correct? I haven't had a real one since coming off the pill though, so apart from the clear blue saying 1-2 (although I read it might be more accurate in the morning so might do one first thing on Saturday to check) does anyone have any idea what date I'd be looking at as an EDD (if all goes well)? I have no idea about when I ovulated.0 -
