Wow that rain last night - so heavy but lovely to sleep too! had the window open and every now and again a few spots landed on me, very refreshing!
please-let-me-be-lucky - I hope your little boy is feeling better today, how small to break his arm.
Becca - lovely scan, I am researching private clinics today in my area as I want to see my little bud.
DH told his brother Friday night...he was mid conversation about something when he said - 'jo would of loved it but as she is preg.......not well she couldn't attend'!!! :rotfl:it was funny and gave him the go ahead to tell, I am so happy he slipped up first as we had a mini bet going! (I win a week off making dinner expect the days he works nights)
No plans today, think I might finish some sewing off that I had started months ago!Proud mummy to an amazing 8 year old!0 -
Morning ladies, I'm back!
It's just taken me an hour and a half to catch up on all the posts! The move went well and we now have internet again. You don't realize how much you use it until it's gone!
My sickness has pretty much disappeared now but trying not to worry as I'm still off tea and coffee etc and my boobs are huge (for me anyway!)
Still haven't had my scan date through, I rang them last week and apparently they'd only just had the referral through from the midwife. Getting impatient now!
Welcome to all the newbies and good luck to everyone having a scan next week.0 -
Glad the move went well Hungry Kitty!
MrsBunny - I wish I could have a bet with my partner but I know I would totally loose!
PLMBL- Poor DS hope he is in less pain today.

only me again :j
Silly question - when you sneeze do you get pains in your lower abdominal, you know where 'baby' is ? Every time I sneeze (which is quite abit!) the pain sometimes knocks me for six but only last for a few seconds and sometimes I double over as it really hurts. Call me a nutter, I don't mind, its just annoying.
Its the only 'pain' I have except the normal cramps.
On a positive note, the slow cooker is smelling good!! Just need DH to hurry up home as I am starving!Proud mummy to an amazing 8 year old!0 -
Mrs Bunny it happens to me all the time, I'm another pregnancy sneezer!! Sure it's all normal xxFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140

I have the same thing when sneezing. I find I have to quickly sit up if I can feel one coming on when I'm in bed! I've also had it if I lean over funny or stand up from a bending or crouching position. I thought it was just me!0

Hello all
Found out last Sunday I'm pregnant! We'd stopped fertility treatment, following an operation last year so I'm really excited!
I've estimated we are 5wks + 2. I have blood tests booked for 8th August and MW visit on 15th.
I'm not really sure what to expect - I've got the expected sore boobs, tiredness and frequent trips to the loo. However, no nausea yet which is a little worrying. I'm NOT saying I want the nausea ... but I guess it would be reassuring ..?
I don't have anyone I can really talk to in real life about this. Mum died 13 years ago, and DH's family live abroad. Kind of on my own hence why I'm reaching out for support.0
