Faerie - Great Scan pic:j
Sam - Can't believe I am at the top of the list:eek:. Technically I should be on the next thread now as I am between 13 and 14 weeks but don't have my ''12 week'' scan until Monday.
Squirrel - Good Luck at your scan:j
Birdie - I have my scan on Monday too.
Becca- Your puppy is adorable. Did I miss the name?
Can't wait for the next scan as still have next to no symptoms and am still in the same size jeans (I have lost 2 kgs). Getting a little worried now and needing some reassurance that things are progressing as they should.
Hi to all the newbies. :wave:0 -
First mw appt this morning.. That was a lot of stuff!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140

Samtoby, I was convinced my second baby was a girl because the pregnancy was so different to the first. With DS1 I was so sick I lost 2 stone while pregnant, had loads of time off work and narrowly avoided being put on a drip quite a few times. With the second pregnancy I bloomed, was hardly sick, looked and felt healthy and carried differently too, but no, another boy! Wouldn't swap him for the world, but everyone was shocked he wasn't a girl!
I'm another who only feels a tiny but queasy in the morning but really yuck in the afternoon/evening. I can't go too long without snacking after lunch or I really feel bad/ throw up.
Hope all went well at the scan Squ1rrel XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. All good at scan! So crazy to see my mini squirrel! Saw the heartbeat fluttering away which was amazing! I'd dated myself 6 + 5 but she measured me at 6 + 4 so not far off! Got a due date of 16th March.
Have my first midwife appt tomorrow morning too - ill expect a long one after your comment Becca!! Hope it went well?
Kynthia, I get evening sickness too - my mum had it exactly the same when she had me. Mine hits me about 5.30, good that its not hitting during work hours but kinda ruins the evenings at the moment!!0 -

glad to hear all is well squirrel
the booking in appoint takes about 1-1.5 hours, but in my area they split it across two so you can read all the leaflets they give you about the tests they offer and then they ask you if you want them at the second appointment
please - don't forget all the leaflets! there's looooaaaaads of leaflets!Little Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

I had all this plus was referred for consultant led care as we had fertility treatment & I have pcos. Also had a GTT booked for 16 weeks as I have pcos and both 12 & 20 week scans booked.
Got my bounty pack. Asked about screening and breast feeding.First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
I wasn't so much asked about breast feeding as given the hard sell for a good 5+ minutes despite already saying I wanted to give it a go!
Gosh, today I have discovered that with people knowing about my pregnancy I've opened myself up to a world of unwanted opinions! We're going for a work lunch next week and I was talking about maybe sharing a baked camembert with someone until some smart alec pointed out that I'm not allowed camembert whilst pregnant and proceeded to give a (not entirely correct!) list of foods I must avoid like I didn't already know! I was sure that it was OK so had a Google and yes, it's fine as the baking will kill off any bacteria. Why people think you're suddenly stupid and incapable of looking after yourself because you're pregnant is beyond me! Even knowing that it's OK I wouldn't dare order it now because I can't be doing with people hassling me about it... people need to keep their opinions to themselves!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
What is a GTT Becca? Only ask as I have pcos too?0
