So is anyone else feeling fine in the morning and nauseous all evening? I wish I could get a scan this weekend as I hit 8 weeks tomorrow but we're away at a family party 'oop north'. I wish we weren't going as it's taking up the whole weekend as we have to stay overnight in a travelodge, I'm only going to know 3 people, it's in a nightclub and I now can't drink, I'm probably going to be tired and nauseous, and we have to try to hide the fact I'm pregnant. Luckily I took tomorrow off work to sleep in a go shopping as compensation.

Kynthia, we spent the whole of last weekend socialising with friends and in late pubs 3 times!. OH and I tried to be all clever. He'd get two drinks - one for him, one for me. And he'd take turns drinking each - while i shuffled the other in my hand- it just resulted in a v drunk OH as he was drinking 2 to everyone else's 1 haha.
My most successful trick was avoiding rounds, I spoke to the barmaid, explained my situation and she made me non-al drinks which looked the same as everyone else's vod&coke or g&t etc. Same glass & trimmings- no one batted an eyelash.
Make sure you get a seat early on and guard it with your life :-)
Enjoy your shopping day and eat and drink water as much as you can when you're not in nausea mode.

I know what you mean about the evening nausea. Mine starts late afternoon and is there til I go to bed. I'm really bloated as well and this gets worse as the day goes on. I have a little pot belly by bedtime.

I'm right behind you Sam... it's crazy! This time seems to have both dragged and flown by IYKWIM! Can't wait to see baby again on Monday... feel much more relaxed after seeing it waving to us and being told that it looked happy and well! Exciting that you've got your scan on Tuesday!

My belly is huge by bedtime and I've noticed that it's no longer so suck-in-able during the day... the pot has arrived and it's here to stay! It looks odd though as it's really low!

Birdie - My belly is really high - isn't that funny!

I just can not wait for Tuesday. I just want to know all the heart attacks over bleeding now and then were just worry that is normal and not because I am going to get bad news.

I want to know if this blood sac has finally dipersed. I had a scan at 8+ weeks but there were no arms and legs just buds so I am hoping to see some arms and legs.

I am hoping I will have pictures like everyone else. Just my bean. xx

I'm sure you'll have a gorgeous scan pic Sam! I wonder if we'll end up having different sexes because we're already 'carrying' differently?

ETA: LOL I just Googled and apparently my pot is low because I've got crap ab muscles!!!! :rotfl:

I do wonder. Its all very different to DS so I kind of feel its a girl. But I am probably wrong and it will be a boy. As long as its healthy I don't care and that I get to full term. xx
