Not sure Becca. Maybe drink some apple juice?

I remember before I used to get horrible pains in my tummy & I used to make a mug of warm Ribena, hold it on my tummy (obviously higher than uterus area) and drink it slowly. Not the best for in this weather but it used to help me a bit even if it was probably partly a placebo effect.

It really hurts! Was really worried at first but it feels like 'needing to go' pains. Thanks Claire will give it a go! Oh the joys ;)

Thanks Trina hope you are doing well xx

Becca I used to go to bed at around 8pm when I was 7-8 weeks as partly as I was so tired and partly because sometimes the pains from wind & constipation were so bad it was the only way to get away from them! I remember just turning over in bed I felt like I was carrying a lead weight in my stomach!

Hi ladies, I hope everyone is ok and coping with the heat. I had my scan this morning, everything looked perfect. I'm now 12 weeks exactly so was brought forward a few days to the 5th Feb :) The sonographer was a bit moody and didn't really explain much but I managed to get 2 free photos from reception as I was wearing my work uniform!!

The NT measurement was 1.5mm, so classed as low risk and I should get the blood results back in a week. My placenta is lying at the front so she said I won't get any movement until quite late.

I've told the rest of our family today, my sister cried she was so happy!

Is it me, or does the baby have a big nose?! 882b0b0d-6812-4531-9c42-bf9fa1f5129c_zpsa566c9ea.jpg
  • Lovely scan pics Faerie! Baby has a cute profile, not a big nose!!

Becca hope you got some relief from the wind/pains. I find taking off my trousers (only at home obviously!) and just wearing something loose like a dressing gown helps. As does lying down.

    What can I do?

Buy Benefibre in a green tub from Boots. You mix it with a drink.

I bought Fibrogel initially but it was like drinking fibre. The Benefibre mixes in.

Not instant solution but has helped me.
