TL I think the problem is that once you've experienced a bad time, the statistics tend to go out the window even though the chances really are on our side, you just cant help but think, well that didn't pan out before!.

Couldn't have put it better myself! I lost last time at 8+5 and today is 8+1. I can't shake the "4 more days" thoughts. I know it's silly because I could lose at any time (though hopefully won't!!) but I'm fixated on getting past next tuesday! Then I'm worried about getting to 12 weeks after that. It's a constant worry!

Hope you feel better soon TL. Great news about the digis Claire Xx

:grouphug:dodgy group hugs to any one who is feeling down at the moment, them hormones are a killer :(

Well the pain I've had in my right side since Sunday is still there but now feels like it might be my pelvis and I now have a pain in my bum where the hip joint is :( I do have slightly dodgy hips which have been worse since DD. So a bit worried this is something I'm going to have all the way through, its already really uncomfortable not bad enough that I want to take pills but just stops me getting comfy :( And I already feel like I'm waddling lol!! seeing the consultant for another scan on Monday and I've got my first midwife appointment next Friday so I guess I'll mention it to both of them then.

PS I'm 36 so I guess another geriatric  might you with my dodgy hips probably about right :rotfl:

7 weeks today! Felt nauseous on the tube this morning but could have been the heat.

Magpie - I got my weekly update from FF for the 8th week of pregnancy and it said that sciatica is fairly common, could that be the cause if your pain? It recommends lying on the opposite side that has the pain to try to relieve it.
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!

Aw Becca that's fab you're getting your cute little pup today :) I remember training a dog of mine and it used to put its front paws on the puppy training pad very pleased that it was doing its business in the right place but its bum was always hanging off onto the beige carpet! :rotfl:

I'm so glad I don't have to go to work in this heat. It sounds awful for some of you. Hope the weather cools down a bit

I have my booking in appt next Thurs then straight after it I have my first counselling session for the mcs. It seems a bit weird but I'll see what they say anyway. They've taken so long to get me the counselling appt. Next week I've also been referred for an early scan but haven't heard if they've fitted me in or not.

Still feeling nauseous and burst into tears last night cos DH was going away for the weekend but good to know the hormones are high.

I have slightly dodgy hips too but I'm 29 lol!

Since yesterday I've been getting pains in them at night & today I was playing badminton and like you got a pain in my hip near my bum, god knows what I've done I wasn't even moving fast.

I think it's probably just a coincidence I'm pg and its happening but it does make me worry a bit it could get worse with it!

Congratulations Claire, great to see you on here!

I'm 33 and this is my first pg, ill be 34 when it's due. I look young but I feel ancient!!!

I had nausea symptoms the first few days after I found out but I think it was more shock than actual real sickness! I'm still off food though and feeling the odd pang of sickness every now and again but not enough to be sick. I've had a few bouts of diarrhea which hadn't been pleasant. I didn't know that was a symptom but apparently it is! Trust me to have that one!!

And my boobs... Owwwwww!! They're okay when my bra is on but when it gets removed, I feel like I'm releasing two bowling balls. They are so heavy!!! I think I might need to invest in some sleep bras?
  • I'm the same squ1rrel. I keep reading about constipation being normal when pregnant but I am the opposite :(. It's costing a fortune in loo roll :rotfl:.

    Evening ladies,

No symptoms here yet. Although do feel a bit bloated!

Glad it's a bit cooler tonight, I might actually get a full nights sleep!

I'll be 30 when baby arrives. Tbh I've not felt much pressure from family/ feeling old, my mum was mid 30's before she had her first. Whereas my oh's parents had him at 18!! He's been feeling old and hearing his clock ticking!

We've told his parents now, and will see mine over the weekend. Once that's done I can tell my best friend.

Good luck with you puppy becca. I'm sooooo jealous!
