Squirrel, I felt exactly the same as you. Then the constipation kicked in around 9/10 wks til around 13 wks :p

I've also had that hip/bum pain but put it down to my dodgy loose joints and the extra stretch they're being given now

Forgotten who was asking, but for general consensus purposes (and cos I can't stop lurking), I'm 31 :)

I'm the same squ1rrel. I keep reading about constipation being normal when pregnant but I am the opposite :(. It's costing a fortune in loo roll :rotfl:.

I've had the same but major bloating is kicking in now I feel like I've been blown up like a balloon so I think it's about to swing the other way!

    Evening ladies,

No symptoms here yet. Although do feel a bit bloated!

Glad it's a bit cooler tonight, I might actually get a full nights sleep!

I'll be 30 when baby arrives. Tbh I've not felt much pressure from family/ feeling old, my mum was mid 30's before she had her first. Whereas my oh's parents had him at 18!! He's been feeling old and hearing his clock ticking!

We've told his parents now, and will see mine over the weekend. Once that's done I can tell my best friend.

Good luck with you puppy becca. I'm sooooo jealous!

Same here, my parents were late 20s but DHs were about 19. But he has younger siblings who both had kids years ago so that took the pressure off from that side! They had children young too so his mum was a grandma I think at around aged 42 which I personally would find horrifying but she thought it was great!

    The puppy sounds adorable Becca.

I'm awake & have been a bit since 5am. I don't know what it is that makes me so awake at night but tired in the evenings when I'm pregnant.

Is anyone using the fertility friend pregnancy tracker? I can't seem to see there's much use in it although I don't have VIP so some things are hidden anyway.

Claire I have VIP and it doesn't seem to add much apart from access to the forums and I already have you ladies lol the bounty app does the same thing so I just look at that cos the weeks match up- ff says that at 6 weeks pregnant you're actually in your 7th week so shows you symptoms and development a week ahead from everywhere else

Yeah I haven't thrown up but I seem to veer between constipation and the other thing lol

Had a horrible night- dreamt I was bleeding and got woken up with really bad leg cramp.
Feel like crap but going to the races later on so will have to soldier on

I'm the same I keep switching between the two.

Thats a horrible dream :( dreams are meant to be more vivid when you are pg. Try and enjoy the races at least its not as hot today :)

I had the best night sleep for ages thanks to it being cooler and the cushion I put between my knees, my hips feel so much this morning think I'll do that every night now :T

Bit of a stressful night here. I got some brownish discharge yesterday evening so I called the out of hours Dr this morning. He gave me a referral to the emergency gynae unit straightaway and we were there for a scan one hour later. I couldn't believe it.

We saw the baby and the heartbeat which was so reassuring, and everything seems to be okay in there. The nurse measured him/her 6+4 and I am 7+0 but she said it's not too accurate until further along. She said some ladies get spotting but nothing bad is happening. I hope that the baby has found a happy home and will stay in there!!!

I hope everything is ok Lara, rest up as said. I had brown bleeding and I am still getting it on and off. I just will feel so much better after my 12 week scan. Still worried stiff. Great result on the time frame for being scanned though.

  • Seeing a heartbeat makes a big difference Lara. With DS1 I had spotting at 8 weeks, and at a scan saw a happy baby with a heartbeat. That pregnancy progressed fine with no further bleeding at all. In my last pregnancy I again had spotting at 8 weeks, and at the scan there was already no heartbeat. A mc ensued a few days later.

I know it's easy to say but try to relax and rest as much as possible. Fingers and toes crossed it all works out for you Xx
