Scan today was all fine (though took a few attempts as bladder not full enough that early in the morning!)
Am measuring at 12+2 with due date 28th Jan

Hubby now at work and will pop by to tell his folks tonight. I'm sitting in my Mums garden feeling relaxed for first time in some while!

Fran - Brilliant that your scan went well. Can't wait to get to that point!

AFM - Spoke to doc yesterday and he was going to fax hospital to see if they could fit me in for a scan next week. He was emphasising that it doesn't mean a mc wouldn't happen just because things are ok at that point but then I read that a heartbeat at 8 weeks gives you a 98% chance of everything being ok. Who knows? I suppose by statistics I shouldn't even be pregnant at my age. At 41 you only have a 5% chance of conceiving in any one month.
