Afternoon ladies,

Birdie can you add my edd to the list please, I've worked it out to be 22nd march.

Called my surgery to see what I need to do and am booked in to see a doctor next week who will then refer to the midwife.
Any idea what this might entail? Blood test, sample etc??

Saw my bestie today and really wanted to tell her, but agreed we'd tell our folks first. Have you ladies told family early on? Dh wanted to tell his parents as soon as we got the bfp! :eek:

I told my parents the day we got our bfp DH told his brother the next day and I told my best friend a few days after. Told his dad after our scan.

I was having a little weep on the train today, was reading a story about a lady who gave birth at her baby shower, her bridesmaids became her midwives and when the baby had its first cry all the guests downstairs cheered, made me blub a bit!

I just called the docs to make an appointment to see the nurse and the first apt is 30th July, if I'm still pg by then will be 11 weeks so who knows when I'll get a scan, oh well, my own fault putting it off...

No symptoms really, just a big bloated belly!

Yeah it stains your teeth brown (surface staining which can be removed by your hygienist but not pleasant all the same) They put it in small print on the back which no one reads lol!

It's official, we've exchanged contracts! We're moving Friday! Slightly panicking now as I still have no energy but I'm going to have to pull it out of the bag somehow.

Welcome to the newbies. On the subject of gums - I'd been having terrible gum problems for the last 18 months but I actually seem to have got a bit better since being preggie. I've tried every mouthwash going and the only one that worked for me was Genigel. It's expensive but it was worth it!

12 week scan tomorrow! It's early (8.15/8.30) so at least I won't be waiting around! Am going with hubby, then the plan is for him to drop me at my Mums after on his way to work (I have day off)
Will let you know how it goes though of course may not get chance to post for a while! Thanks for all your support helping me get this far!

PS colleague announced today she's 13 weeks pregnant :rotfl:

We told my parents when we found out cos we live with them, and his parents and my best friends and sisters after the 7 week scan.

Hungry kitty congrats on exchanging! We've just got the last searches back so fingers crossed we won't be too much longer! Also is your name from Despicable Me? Love that film
