Glad I'm not the only one stressing - seriously hoping I'm right and I'm having a scan as part of my appointment next week - I don't think she actually told me as much, but it's 3 hours and I have to have full bladder so I must be surely?

Bra-wise, measuring myself I'm supposedly still an A but existing ones definitely don't fit - will try again to find something that fits this week! Have a feeling this is setting the tone for maternity clothing :(

Thanks for making me feel normal re the boobs! Have just gone up from FF to G, nice to know I'm not the only one...
I guess the weight gain is different for everyone, one of my friends had gestational diabetes and was put on a strict diet monitored by the doctor (she's quite overweight) and she ended up same weight at 9 months pregnant as she was at the start of her pregnancy! As her belly got bigger she was losing weight from everywhere else.

I just let a lady with a 'baby on board' badge take the free seat I'd been going for. :) I can't wear one on the district line yet as I too often see people from work.

I might see you on the district line sometime Kynthia ;) it was plenty hot on there today. I go between Victoria and south ken daily.

I cried at work today, having a rubbish time, feeling under pressure. Was pretty embarrassing... But felt better by the afternoon.

Welcome to the board Squirrel x

Well had a very stressful day went to the doctors today as i have had a pain in my right side for 3 days, cos I had IUI she sent me to EPU for a scan. I first had to wait an hour for the scan at which point I was told I had one sack with yoke but no heartbeat and another with a heartbeat but she was concerned it was too high :( I was told I would need to be scanned by a consultant. I bawled my eyes out for half hour. After nearly an hour the sister came to see and said the consultant had looked at the images and wasn't concerned but she would need to a scan to be sure howecer she was on theatre rotation and they had no idea how long the wait would be but I wasn't allowed to leave as it might be dangerous :o

Finally after 4 1/2 hours wait in a hot ward scared and upset and on my own I was seen and the consultant said there was only one baby and it wasn't too high what the f!!k. I've been booked in for a reassurance scan on Monday but after all that all looks fine and they weren't worried about the pain. I'm now emotionally drain and would love a glass of wine lol

Poor you Magpie. Having to wait so long in the heat is horrible. Glass of wine does sound good, what would be a good substitute treat? Ice cream? Foot soak/ pedi? X

  • Sorry to hear that magpie, but thrilled the end result was positive. I agree with Fran, have an alternative treat, you deserve it Xx

Ben & Jerry's sounds like a good plan after the day you've had - glad it turned out ok in the end!
