Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 3

Hi ladies how is everyone coping with the heat I'm finding its making me very grumpy didn't have the best weekend Saturday I felt tearful and then in the afternoon DD managed to half land on me and put an elbow in my lower stomach, I cried a lot which confused DD. It ached for a few hours but not sure if that was me focusing on it more than normal. I was so worried it had done something but after doing some research its a long way down at this stage so I'm sure it will fine plus no pain or bleeding so fingers crossed!

Weirdly since Friday all my nausea and cramps have gone and I don't feel as tired as I did. It just feels worse strangely more reassuring when you feel ill lol! Mind you the one annoying thing I have is I VERY bloated, I've checked my weight and I've only put on 1lb so must be wind lol! Felt pretty down about it yesterday I wouldn't mind looking like that in a few months but not now getting to hide my huge stomach at work

I've booked to see my GP on Friday for my first appointment I guess I should of gone earlier but I didn't want to take DD as I don't want to tell her yet and that was the only time I could go without her.

Does anyone with an EDD in March have any symptoms yet? I'm 5+3 and all I have is cramps.

Me neither Kynthia, just a wee bit more thirsty. Sit tight, I am sure we will be wishing them away when they do arrive

No like I say I did have some last week but now I feel like normal just a bot tired and bloated. The thirst thing is something I wasn't expecting I can't remember much from the 1st time but I never normally drink much water but at the moment I'm drinking loads!!

Hello and welcome to all the newbies. I wish you sticky beans.

I have had a pants weekend and today is looking the same too. I have had a sore throat and cough as well as been off all food and drink. I have pushed through the drink and that is about all I have had and I have just had a bowl of Ready Break as I was feeling a bit dizzy. I can not believe I have been ill on the hottest few days although saying that I do not think I would want to sit out in all of this heat.

OH has been great and so has my Mum. I still don't know how I have managed not to leak the pregnancy to her. (We live in a three bed house with a 1 bed self contained annex) My Mum often is in our house bit as she likes our big TV.

My OH doesn't want either of our Mums to know until after the 12 week scan and I respect his wishes - his Mum gets so excited and would rather her excitement when I know I have reached the 12 week point! I will be 12 weeks 26th July so I guess my 12 week scan will be around then.

I must say (touch wood) my sickness is wearing off and although I feel tired its not unbearable as in I can get up to early afternoon before it kicks in.

Can't believe I will be 10 weeks this week - it seems to be going faster now.

Thanks Lara and Magpie. My breast tenderness went away so I've managed to freak myself out because I don't have nausea or frequent urination yet either. I will try and be more patient and give it another couple of weeks.

Kynthia - Mine all came in one swoop - sickness, tenderness and being tired. I hope it the nicest possible way you get one after the other - fearing that nothing.....my work friend has not had any symtoms at all! x

I'm 8+0 and nausea started last week but I haven't felt anything today..yet...I was quite tired this weekend despite having enough sleep and my boobs are so painful!

My stomach has been sticking out a lot even before the pregnancy but I'm having to wear baggy tops and scarves to hide it.

I called the doc today to see if I could see the nurse on Friday (my only chance of a day off) but she's not in on Fri so I'll try agan next week...

Is anyone else feeling nauseous and retching but not actually being sick? I keep worring that I just have trapped wind and I'm not really pregnant :eek:.
