Congratulations Becca! No triplets for you then. :rotfl: So glad the scan went well and you had a heartbeat.

Despite others mentioning they have few symptoms at 5/6 weeks, I got myself into a state last night convinced I'm not pregnant anymore. I even used my last digi half expecting it to say 'not pregnant' but it said 3+ weeks. I wish I wasn't such a worrier especially as there's nothing I can do other than pay for a scan at 8 weeks. Maybe when I finally get to see my GP she'll put my mind at rest, I wish she wasn't on holiday.
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!

Becca, that's great news - very happy for you!

Kynthia, worrying is natural (at least that's what I keep trying to tell myself).

I've just made my appointment - sounds like it's scan and booking in all at once as it'll be 3 hours! After stressing about whether I was really 7 weeks or not, they only went by my LMP. As a result I've got an appointment on the 24th July, even by LMP I'd only be about 10 and a half weeks, but by my dates I'm only going to be 9 - now I'm stressing that they'll tell me off for not being as far along as I should be!

Hope everyone has a stress-free day!
  • Becca - that's such great news! So glad that the scan has put your mind at rest. How wonderful getting to see the heartbeat :D

We're thinking about getting an early scan - cos I'm 38 and there's a family history of mcs. But not worried about it just cautious.

Kynthia, did the exact same thing as you last week, you wonder if its a joke your body is playing on you. The symptoms will come, and while the sickness and nausea is horrid, it at least makes you feel less like a fraud.
Honestly, getting on the tube these last couple of days with pangs of morning sickness. not the greatest :o

    Have a good day all

Becca - so glad your scan went well.:j

Kynthia - Because of my total lack of symptoms I peed on Internet cheapies until the first scan, just to keep reassuring myself that I was still pregnant. Now that I am really starting to believe that its all going to be OK I feel lucky that I haven't had the severe symptoms that some of the ladies on here or my SIL have.

    Hello,

wonder if it's ok to quietly sneak in. We have a 2yo DS (MC before that, DS took 18 mo) and we've been TTC number 2 for ten months now (been over at the TTC board so far). Got a TLP this morning and hoping for the BFP tomorrow. Bit of brown spotting the last three days but nothing today AF now two days over due.

    x

Re symptoms: I had a bit of nausea yesterday. But not much else as it's really early days. However my skin is a lot better than when I get AF.
With DS I had no symptoms at all all the way through apart from being emotional and irrational (getting angry at people having a drink or a pate sandwich just because I couldn't and you would think after a MC and 18 mo of TTC it wouldn't matter ;) )
