Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 3

I was like TL and BZ. Saw the community midwife at 5 weeks, got weighed and had blood and urine samples taken and she gave me some info on hospital choices (since at that time I hadn't even thought about which one I was going to use!).

I have my proper booking in appointment on Wednesday morning.

P.S. woke up this morning with a huuuuuge belly! Major bloatage! Blegh!

Great news on the BFP's on other threads - esp as many have taken 6 months plus. After reading some other threads I can see that many have spent months if not years for this time and for them I want to give a masssssiiiiivvvvveeeee hug and great 9 months journey xx

love love love that i get to go through this with old 'friends' plus this thread is more active now, was missing the ttc natter lol

feeling a bit hormonal today - got teary telling a colleague that our new apprentice is a nice lad lol

is anyone else drinking like a fish? i seem to have a dry mouth constantly and i'm spending all my money on liquids. today i've bought bottles of vimto and 7up and apple juice and also a large latte from macdonalds (50mg of caffeine) and i'm already contemplating going to the canteen at lunch for a can of something as well x

I love that there are some of us old timers on here together too! Feels lovely having you girls here with me! Really missing some of the ladies from the TTC thread and it's not the same popping back in once you've graduated.

I'm drinking constantly too TL. Just had a (rip-off at £1.25!!) bottle of Ribena from the canteen and still feel thirsty. Main problem is that it means I'm always peeing too!

You do the lists as long as you like Lily! How's your little beanie doing?

morning all todays mission is to begin to make room for this baby ! eekk my house isnt very big! It is starting to feel real now. I need my scan asap so i can get excited

It's not a bean anymore Birdie..... It's a Lemon! And yeah, all good thanks. Sexing scan in T-12 days. Got another EPU scan next week too so I'm happy.

Really enjoying seeing so many ladies on this thread again

I was wondering any ladies that have experienced bleeding in their pregnancy (especially samtoby!) have they just carried on working? iv had the last two days off because of bleeding but mostly due to back pain, and I'm next due in Monday night for 3 night shifts. in a way I feel I should do them to take my mind off things but I also don't know if I should be resting?! feel confused, I need to ring my manager back soon
