    I'm fine thanks :)
I had a few spots of pink and nothing else. I get an early scan due to fertility treatment (they may have released 2 or more eggs with the trigger) so I'm just waiting for a date & time x

    How r u? X

Exciting! :D Be sure to get a piccie ;)

I'm a lot better thanks, just waiting for physio input then hopefully will be back to work and all sorted :) The sickness is down to a few episodes a day so much more manageable, and the cyclizine is really helping.

I'm taking the Tesco pregnancy vits with Omega - I find them easier to digest than the pregnacare ones (and a lot cheaper!)

How soon did everyone contact the Doctor?

I think I'm 5 weeks but was planning to wait until I've passed the 6/7 week point at which I miscarried in April in case the same happens - now I'm wondering if I should be contacting them sooner?

Is it bad that I am counting down the working days before I can go on mat leave already? I dont like work! less that 70 working days left! !!!! that sounds like a lot!
Just take each day as it comes. :)

I went in at 5 weeks. She took my blood pressure and worked out my due date and then did the referral to the midwife. Haven't heard anything yet but she said it could take a couple of weeks. I don't think a couple of weeks would make much difference so I'm sure it will be fine if you want to wait.

Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly for you :)

Becca - is there a hugh possibility of more than one bean - how exciting for you. :)

I am going to the Midwife at 10 weeks pregnant by appointment date so I hope they can get my 12 week scan in ok - some people already have their scan date.

I went to the Dr's at 4 weeks or 5 weeks and it was quite an anti climax - but I expected it lol.

I've got a midwife appointment on Tuesday! Isn't that rather soon?!

Becca it might be like my area, they give you an appointment to fill in a sheet to say you're pregnant to your chosen hospital and do a bit of the filling in on the pregnancy notes and give you the chunkier leaflets about ds tests.
Then you ring for your booking in appointment where they go through the rest, ask if you want the tests, book your 12 week scan and take blood and urine.
I had the first one at six weeks and the booking in at 7 weeks, think it's just luck of the draw when they have appointments free.

Got a phone call from doctors to say 'you've given a urine sample and the midwife has asked that you have antibiotics so please come pick up your prescription' so apparently I have a uti lol and helpfully after DH has to go to two separate branches of my doctors they'd prescribed a non pg friendly one so have to wait til I'm home from work tomorrow now grr x

My experience was similar to teamlowe's, becca. I first saw the community midwife at 5/6 weeks, filled in a referral form to my hospital of choice for the birth (and therefore scans) and checked there was nothing that urgently needed dealing with. It was nice having a number for her that I could call if I needed to right from the beginning though. Some don't get that til 2 months later and I can imagine that being daunting. I got the letter for the 12 wk scan & booking in appointment (combined appt) around 7/8 wks.

I was taking pregnacare and it turned my wee yellow too-it's normal. The iron in them wasn't helping my const'pated state though so I've switched back to folic acid for now.:o

My parents were visiting today and were asking what I've gone off etc, and I said I was struggling with dairy etc. Mum must've gone on about making sure I get enough calcium about 4 times after that! Geez, I can't force it down! It'll come back up! She should be grateful I'm keeping anything down at all... I nearly spewed in the bakery ailse of the supermarket today :p I had thought my MS symptoms were improving...apparently not.

I was almost convinced last night/this morning that I had a uti, but the sample I dropped off at the docs they're telling me is clear... ah well, midwife on monday will no doubt check again...

I see we're about to gain another one from the ttc thread...! I wonder if chickpea (from the 12m+ thread) will join us too...? :D

Morning sickness is so unpredictable! Couple of days ago I felt great in the evening and thought, looks like I have done my stint......oh no here we go again yesterday was bad and today looks like I will spend most of it gagging.

I know it sounds totally bizarre but because of the blood sac and the scan next week, I feel better that I am still getting symtoms and sickness it is reassuring me. In any other circumstance I would hate being sick but I am not minding all of this because it means my hormoans are still going strong - or I hope so.

Teamlowe- Supermarket shopping has become a problem for me, some things I can not even look at. Yesterday it was fish. Brrrrrrr.xx
