Lola - That's good to know - gives me a small bit of hope. I'm going to try and stay positive for now. No news is good news I suppose and getting myself worked up isn't going to help. I can feel so much movement in my stomach at the min - jumping about, bouncy strangeness...but not in any sort of pain as of yet :o

(Just phoned maternity unit and she recommended that I ring my GP in the morning. They can't do anything there today as they don't have the scan facility available at weekends. She said if I get any pain or the bleeding increases to go to A&E)

Cpoir - I had a bit of blood when I wiped (sorry if tmi) when i was exactly 6wks, midwife said it was probably implantation bleed. I also had a bit of pain which I believe now to be everything stretching. I was so worried as lost one at 8wks end of Nov but that was proper blood(again sorry!).

Touch wood, all is ok as I'm now 16wks. Try not to worry as that's likely to cause more problems than the odd spotting. Best of luck to you hun. Xx

Thank you :A This is exactly what happened...

I thought implantation bleeding was brown though. I experienced 2 days of this when I was 4 weeks...and that's what prompted me to do the hpt in the 1st place x

Just wanted to pop in and say Hi :)
I'm 10+1 today with my 3rd and feeling like poop. I fell straight away after having the coil removed, which was a bit of a shock to the system, but hey ho! We haven't really told many people (just close family and my best friend), the kids don't know yet (they are 10 and 7). I'm expanding rapidly though, so I'm going to have to let the cat out of the bag soon, as I'm now looking pregnant, and not just fat.
I've not read through the thread, but congratulations to everyone!

    Welcome and congrats shortdog.

3 sleeps until scan. Gone from feeling excited to very scared and nervous. Sicky feeling is subsiding a little and the good news is that i havent actually been sick...yet. Still feel poorly in evenings but not totally useless anymore.

Cpoir - I don't know, mine was defo red, not brown at all but I put my feet up after and took it easy as was worried i had overdone it and that was 10wks ago now. Scan at 12wks was all ok and have Doppler so know he/she's ok in there. Hope yours is the same and spotting stops. So bloomin scary being pregnant! Xx

Cpoir- *hugs* I had bleeding at 5 weeks, it was red not brown. Thankfully once I rested it eased and a scan at 5 and 7 weeks showed good signs. Please take it easy xx

Vic: yay for scan not far away but sorry you are nervous xx I've still got sickness, I've stopped being sick but nausea is constant. I was up at midnight getting fresh air as I was feeling so sickly :( x

Well for the past few days I've been adamant I could feel 'something'. Last night hubby found the heartbeat :) I could feel exactly where baby was and I could feel them moving so knew exactly where to put Doppler. Hubby put his hand on my stomach and I am adamant I could feel baby moving towards him. I'm sure I didn't feel these kind of movements until 20weeks last time? Hubby was amazed. I can only assume its from my skin being previously stretched.
