Huge hugs for work Amy that sounds rubbish. Dont let them bully you into feeling bad. Just relax at home. Shes not even allowed to be contacting you at all.

Sounds like a rough day cpoir. Fingers crossed for Thurs. Are you sure about your dates?

Good luck for tomorrow vic! Keep us all posted.

Had my docs appt today. She didnt do bloods or anything so im none the wiser. Is this normal?

No that's the problem...I'm not sure about my dates at all. Came off the pill end of March...haven't had a proper LMP, no idea of ov date or cycle length etc. The only thing worrying me is the fact that I did 4 positive tests (super faint) 2 weeks ago. Even if I'm 5 weeks 214 hcg seems low to me?! Not going to stress about it until I know more on Thurs x

    Enjoy your scan tomorrow Vic

Oh cpoir, that does sound very confusing. I really hate to say this, but perhaps your levels are coming down? What you've said sounds very similar to what happened to me in March. My levels initially went up, but a scan two week after showed nothing and a blood test showed levels of 750 which was the same as before.

Ultrasounds show a sac from about 1500, so hopefully your level will have gone up to 400 on Thu and a scan next week will show a sac. If you're not sure on dates it could just be too early.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you. I know what a worrying time it is xxx

Edit: Just seen you have a scan today Vic. Good luck and come and let us know :)

Just had a letter through this morning changing my scan date. They have pushed it back a day to the 22nd may. I'm so jealous of all you ladies seeing your babies. I'm going to be 13+5 by the time I see mine :( (I'm sure it's suppose to be a 12 week scan though lol)

Hey, this may be a silly question but I'm a bit clueless about what goes on in pregnancy before the ladies turn up on delivery suite! I saw my MW for the first time really early at 5+5 and she said to make my second appointment later as she couldn't book that far ahead. I've now received my scan appointment for 20th June when I'll be 13+1 and am also seeing the consultant's team on the same day (I'm having multi team care). When should I book my next appointment to see the MW? Is it normally around 16 weeks or have I just plucked that from nowhere? Obviously it's not imminent :rotfl:

As an aside, I'm 8 weeks today :j

ETA: Awwww Amy, sorry they're making you wait to see your LO - but not long to go now!

Good luck with the scan today Vic!

Will be thinking of you tomorrow cpoir and sending you all the positive wishes in the world.

Amy - Is this your first pregnancy?

From what I can remember, you see a midwife around 8 weeks (though you've seen her at 5+5) for the 'booking in' appointment.
Then you have a scan at 12 weeks and they take bloods at the same appointment.
    After that, it's a MW appointment at 16 weeks. Scan at 20 weeks. Another MW appointment at 25 weeks, then 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 41.

If it's a second pregnancy you see the MW less in the later stages. If you're under consultant care they will decide when they see you and what extra care you have when you see them.

Hope that helps, although it does see to vary from area to area.

Thanks Lily, that all seems to ring a bell! Yes, it is my first pregnancy - hence being a state :rotfl:

ETA: I hope you're well and feeling more confident and relaxed atm :grouphug:

Thanks for the good wishes. I'm very relieved to report that baby is really there and seems to be doing well. I must admit that I shed a tear when I saw it jumping about on the screen. I've been dated at 12 weeks exactly, one day off my estimation ;) I can't tell you how happy dh and I are :)
I guess I'll be leaving and joining the other thread, although I can't promise not to lurk. Really, really hope to see you all over there really soon x

Sorry about your scan date Amy..that's really pants.

Keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow cpoir x
