Well - just a quick update. Went to the GP this morning and he's going to try and get me booked in at the EPU for a scan. Been sat staring at my phone for the last 2 hours waiting for it to ring :o

Thanks for your supportive replies and advice. My job is not at all strenuous (just sat at a desk) so not overdoing it. Being at home looking after my super active 2 yo is harder work x

EDIT - appointment in the morning. Wish me luck...

Cpoir - good luck tomorrow. Fingers crossed for you.

OWIU - Whenever my symptoms disappear I get paranoid (this evening for example, but it's pretty normal. I don't look or feel pregnant but then again I'm only 7 weeks so there isn't much to feel at this stage. I had genuinly forgotten how terrifying pregnancy is. Another 7 months of this makes me quite upset :(

How is everyone else feeling? Quite quiet on here of late. Good luck to those with scans this week.

    Lily xx

Wishing you all the best for the morning cpoir. You're very welcome to my symptoms onlyway!

Afm, had a delightful phonecall from work earlier. I have been told to take two weeks off (and have a doctors note) to take it easy whilst the bleeding continues. My manager called today to say she wants an 'attendance review meeting' and to ask, without any hint of sympathy, if I'm having a miscarriage

It really upset me, although I'm sure it's just her manner rather than anything malicious. I'm now fearing the worst and am a bit convinced work are going to be arsey with me when I go back.

What a lovely manager you have Amy. You could kinda expect that kind of treatment from a man but definatly not a woman boss. Keep your chin up!!

Have got everything crossed for you. Hugs xx

That is awful. Do they not realise it's illegal to discipline someone for pregnancy-related illnesses? That would be sexual discrimination. Make sure you have a copy of the various legislation and your sick notes when you go back. And don't go back until you're ready, you don't need that kind of stress. It makes me so cross when companies are like this.

Thinking of you Amyloo...sorry that work are giving you the added worry x

I have had the most bizarre and puzzling day. Spent 4 hours at the hospital being prodded and poked, cameras, needles and scans you name it! I am still none the wiser. Thought I was 6 weeks but my bloods would suggest otherwise...hormone level only at 200 so I'm now thinking about 4 weeks and 3 days. However I am now totally confused as my hpt showed a bfp a whole 2 weeks ago! Surely that's bl**dy impossible...but the nurse seemed to disagree with me! 4 days after dtd!!!?? What!! ? Anyway - the scan showed nothing and I have to go back in 2 days for repeat hormone test. Will see what Thursday brings. I imagine it will still be too early to see anything though so the waiting continues! My consultant was very strange...I asked a question and instead of getting a yes or no answer I got a long story and photos on his laptop of the president of Venezuela

 That sounds absolutely baffling! Hopefully everything will have doubled on Thursday though so they can give you good news - although it does seem strange that the dates are so out. TTC / pregnancy is a mystifying business!

I hope you're being looked after following your stressful hospital visit :grouphug:
