Just wondering if any of you have any experience of flying when pregnant. I've read on NHS website that it is OK but I'd love to hear from personal experience. Was thinking of going away (2 hour flight) in Sept but that was before I found out my news. If all goes to plan I would be approx 23 weeks. Opinions please? xAddicted to MSE0

Flying is fine up to 36 weeks, but I'd advise against going that late as my friend did that even with doctor saying it was okay and she ended up giving birth in France- complications meant she had too stay in a foreign hospital for a few days
I'd say 23 weeks is fine, but you might get some side effects, with my first pregnant I had really bad cankles, flying also gives me cankles so I imagine me flying whilst pregnant will give me super cankles!! :rotfl:Got married 13/11/10

I'm flying at 31 weeks and my midwife told me it was fine as long as there were no prior complications and I wear flight socks.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0

Oh !!!!!!, DH arrived home from work nattering on the phone to someone about his band. This is a fairly common occurance, so I didn't bat an eyelid when he pretty much ignored me for the first 20 minutes of being home because whoever else it was is MUCH more important. So far, so normal.
However he then proceeded to ask me how 'my ladyparts are today' and to offer the wisdom that 'it doesn't matter if it all goes wrong, because we'll just knock another one out in no time'. When I told him he wasn't helping he told me it's my fault for having no sense of humour because I've been home alone and need to go out more.
When I pointed out that I'd done that yesterday, but had an assignment to finish today he interrupted me, went into a full on door-slamming paddy and stormed off to the studio.

Oh dear amy, sorry your OH is being a bit of a kn0b.
I never know what sort of mood my OH is going to come home in either. Like yours, he quite often would rather spend his evenings with his headphones clamped to his head in his 'boys toys' room making music on his computer.
That room is earmarked for our new babies nursery, but whilst I am making plans for it/deciding on the decor/planning the room what we need in there etc, he is clinging onto keeping it as somewhere he can store all his guitars/musical stuff and hide from me!

I'm seriously thinking about getting a shed for the garden which has power to it, so that OH can go play on his xbox in there - only trouble is that he won't be within shouting distance when I need a hand with something :-)0 -
