  • Thanks to all for your support, it's really appreciated. I'm a bit better today, still very anxious and feeling really spaced out, even deciding what I want to eat is difficult! I also had to come straight to work after a 10 hour flight, the jet-lag and the positive test.. so really struggling in the office at the moment.

Yesterday night I cried for an hour and talked to my OH, he's supportive with any decision I make, but I feel he really wants to go ahead, although won't admit it.

Thanks abis .... think im going to phone my gp surgury today and see how things work with them and what the next step is. What do i say lol .... do i just say something along the lines ... ive had a positive pregnancy test and would like to do what i need to do next ?? Any advice is greatly appriciated x

A lot of gp's won't see you now regardless of your circumstances they give you the number to directly call the mw team and book your booking appt.

Ring the surgery tell them you are pregnant and what is the next step.

And... hugest fluffiest pinkest sparkliest congratulations!!! (I'm not here I'm 20 weeks+ :p)

  • I'm officially joining in, as I am now accepting that I am pregnant, and that the little one might just stick around!

Scan yesterday, 9+2, heartbeat! Not sign of escaping (not been problem free at 9 weeks since DS 1 8years ago!)

So I now believe I'm having a baby! But now I'm also panicking at having 2under 2! Plus i work ft, and oh works like 90hr weeks, & there are no family/friends to help!

Oh well, I will have a cute little baby to play ŵith, ha! Didn't expect this to work out, but seeing as I mc every other time, didn't want to leave it and not get a baby until 2015!

Not too bad with tiredness & sickness, its there, but not taking over my life like previous pgs. I do get terrible car sickness now! Thats rubbish!

Glad to be back, i've been ignoring it so much, i feel like I just got the positive test!

    :-)

I have called my drs to see when my booking appointment is going to be & it turns out someone hadn't passed my information on to the midwives
Have been told now that someone WILL be calling me tomorrow. I don't think I'm going to hold my breath though lol

Phoned the hospital and my booking in appointment is next Thursday and my scan is 13th May, still not symptoms so dont feel like there is anything in there, we shall see..

Do you think it would be ok to take my 11 month LO to the booking in appointment with me?
    xx

yes, but you may be there a while and they might be bored to screaming hysteria by the time you leave.

Second thoughts, think I'll drop her at a my auntie's!

My husband is out of the country on my scan date so has said he will pay for a private scan, so just booked one for 2nd May. Hoping I will be able to see the heartbeat as believe I will be 8.5 weeks at the very earliest... :)
