I had my scan yesterday, they dated me at 10 + 5 , so have to go back in 2 weeks for another scan

How do things look Lilly? How far along did you think you were?

The doctor thought I was 13 weeks.
The baby looks ok but its guts r still on the outside, apparently normal at 10 weeks but they will check again in 2 weeks.
Am a bit stressed tbh

Thank you guys, sorry i havent got on til now, its been a bit hectic today!

They did ask me for one, unfortunately it was after the scan, after having a wee because i was desperate after all the pressing on me and then they asked for it 10 minutes later! i managed a pitiful sample! but they did give me a specimen tub for next time.

Well the scan itself went well, 2 arms and 2 legs and a little flickering heartbeat its a definite wriggler! they dated me 1 day ahead of what I thought so im dated now at 11+4, due 1st November
now to wait for my 20 week scan! cant wait to see our little wriggler again

Hi everyone, Please may i join you or is it too early ?? i got a BFP today. clearblue digital (Pregnant 3+) i don't think it has sunk in yet for me or DP ... we had only been not preventing it since january. (i say not preventing because we wern't using anything and the baby is planned but we were just doing it as and when we felt like it)(not very often TBH) we were very lucky but TBH i was expecting it too take a while ... dont know why because our son was a miracle conception (3 failed contraceptions) i was 15 .... me and my partner (my sons dad) have been together 6 years next month. i have a mild form of cerebral palsy from the waist down but it does also affect my arms. which they were concerned about in my last pregnancy, pre term labour, premature birth, miscarriage problems during labour,,, i was told many times i would have to have a c-section and that i'd probably miscarry or go into extremely preterm labour ..... but they were wrong ... i had an amazing pregnancy and delivered my baby boy at 40 weeks and 2 days .... with no complications during my pregnancy and labour .... i will be contacting my GP soon. but im very anxious that they will have concerns and may scare me again i understand they need to tell me and warn me just incase but im so scared that something is going to go wrong. and TBH i think im still in denial .... omg sorry for such a long post ...


could i also ask does anyone know what i do next ? do i book an app with my GP ? my previous pregnancy was unplanned so obv a diff situation and i went to my GP because although i knew i was to scared to tell my mum so i went to my GP so it was a controlled environment i had a dated scan .... i was 6 weeks 4 days pregnant i then had an app at the sexual health clinic to 'talk through my options' which i didnt want to attend as i knew i wouldnt be able to face having an abortion.. my partners mother came with me we walked outside after the app and she said you dont want to do this do you ... i told her no i dont want an abortion and that i want to keep the baby and she said so what are we doing here lets go home. after that my MIL contacted the clinic and they sorted out a MW and my MIL informed my GP that i would like to continue with the pregnancy and it went from there..... so im not sure this time round what i need to do ?

oh before i forget ive worked out my EDD is 18/12/13 (the day after my partners birthday) xxx

Welcome optimistic mummy. Saw your bfp on ttc thread so delighted you're here. Call your surgery tomorrow and they'll tell you how it works with them. X

Thankyou vic3 will call them as soon as DP has took LO to preschool, we have decided not to tell anyone till after the 12 week scan ... just incase (can you tell i'm scared) so definitely got to make sure we dont slip anything out ... hes 4 so i know through innocents he would end up saying something to someone if he knew something .... better to not tell him for now. x
