[QUOTE=NinjaSavingKat;60203273 But I like the idea of Amazon gift vouchers. Do you know if you can combine more than one gift voucher to buy something large for around £100 (although I know this would take forever to earn)...
QUOTE]
On Amazon, you can go to your account, click on apply gift certificate and then enter the code. It credits your account with the amount and I think you have something like 12months (maybe longer even) to use it. You can just keep adding vouchers this way. Then when you have enough for an expensive item, when you pay for it, you're given the option of using your voucher credit to pay for it/towards it.0 -
Morning all, flipping freezing here today. Working like a mad woman to get work hours finished too.
Thrifty none of my ebay lots shifted either this week - I think free listing weekends tend to glut the market and people disappear over easter so will list the few bits left after the hols I think. Need to work out the new postage costs too. The stuff that sold was DH listings - £140 in total - for three lots!! Madness - need to get him to turf out some more of his clobberRe your grumpy customer stick to your guns and dont let it worry you - the more you sell the more likely this is to happen.
His Missus - sorry to hear about your mum - hope she is on the mend and not in too much pain.
Right back to it - pick up DS in an hour - shed loads to do!!
Love to all,
LAGL
PS - i dont want a vitamix - only cos I havent looked - its better that way - already have a food processor and icecream maker.Debt free on the 28/05/130 -
Thanks, I'll try to ignore it. I'll take a break too till after easter, that makes sense. Plus we're away in the first week in April.
Got the cat litter delivered (can't remember who recommended it). The bag is HUGE, 40l !!!. That should last a while. Although it's more expensive than other stuff it smells nice of wood and you only need too chuck a small portion each day. It's great. Unfortunately, the second mouse in our kitchen got the free treats that came with it but paid for them with her life (RIP).DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

Excellent!! I was thinking "voucher" that you enter codes at the till. This means adding more to my current £62.. :T:T:T“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. I go through phases with surveys. Sometimes I do loads and sometimes I just don't have the time or patience to sit there either. You can also sell your Amazon codes on ebay. Not sure if you're allowed or not but I sold a few once without the listing getting pulled. They go for a little under face value....just make sure you've not added the codes to your account first!
I had the laziest morning - I'm still in m PJsOff out soon though but aiming for another SFD. Really confident of making it to the end of the month with all budgets intact. I used a different spreadsheet this month and it seems to work for me (actually, it's not really a spreadsheet, it's just a daily list of what I'm doing (day off/usual work/extra work etc) and money in/money out all listed in glorious technicolour so that i know which budget each spend has come from) and I've used different purses as well. I'll try it again next month.
Talking of next month, what have you got up your sleeve for us in April miss kat?
Payday for me should be Wednesday. This is the first month I've been confident of not having to grab money from elsewhere in the few days leading up to it. I suppose it's a bit like holding your breath underwater and having to stay down for longer than is comfortable. We've been doing these challenges for a few months now so our "lungs" are getting stronger and there's less panic in those frantic last few days leading up to payday. We're getting better at spreading our spends throughout the month so that on payday we can calmly come up for air and refill our lungs before going back down for another month, knowing that we've done it before so we can do it again. If you haven't done it so far, that's okay too cos your "lungs" are still getting stronger each time you try. Maybe April will be the month it happens
Ok, enough of the chat from me. Time to make lunch (sweet potato, coconut and lime soup if anyone's interested). I bet it takes me at least 10 times longer from start to finish than it would if I had a Vitamix!!
Hope you all have a nice afternoon. I'll check in later to catch up and report my SFD!0 -

Yes and is the thread going to go up before the long weekend? I will be joining, but might be slightly late to the party as I'm away for the weekend in a location without internets. Can't wait, it's actually one of the best things about the location, proper down time.Total debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150 -

Thrifty is this the Cat's Best that Kerri recommended? I was going to order the same size but really need to keep it under my bed. How long do you think that will last you..?“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Afternoon all!
Sorry I was AWOL, no excuse other than we holed up indoors spending some well needed time resting, slobbing, eating, sleeping and generally re charging. And by god was it needed!
£28 Asda shop and that was the lot for spends!
Had a phone call yesterday, the extra earner that we're doing good vibes for wants us for a bit of time tonight, as well as Friday. They're giving us £50 tonight! YAY!!! Offically a complete earner!! But still want good vibes please!
His - Hugs xxxxxx
And I agree with the others, Get Your April out!!
I love the amazon vouchers from surveys. I do have fits and starts throughout the year, and let the vouchers build up for Xmas presents. It really does lighten the xmas load! But by god is it BORING!! That's why I like swagbucks and dooyoo, bit of variety possibly not the highest paying but certainly the easiest on my sanity!
Happy monday all xxx0
