  • Everyone who is still on the naughty step for March please move over for a little one lol.

I have been AWOL for over a week sorry guys. But with the help I mentioned from my Auntie, all debts are now paid and I still have a bit spare. This is going on my first council tax payment, MOTing the car and putting a bit away for the car tax which is due at the end of April.

So, I am starting April with debts of £9000 exactly to one debt which feels so much better than all over the place. My head seems to be in a better place.

I have really stuffed up budgets but going over to sign up for April and WILL do better this month.
    TOTAL DEBT - £10866.22/£450.06 PAID O/S £10416.16
CC - £174.69 - The rest is a family loan and other debts which are 0%
    August Grocery Challenge - £0.00/£250.00

Yikes, just squeezing in before midnight to say a massive well done to everyone who took part :T

Me? I'm calling it a success as, although I fell short on the SFDs, I came in on budget for everything and made more than the £100 target in extra income.

My spreadsheet was my biggest ally (after you guys of course) so I've started another one for April.

See you on the April thread :money:

Well as they say its not always the destination that's important but the journey itself. I only managed about 12 SFD but that's 12more than any previous month and set my budgets so low it was never achievable unless I just didn't have cash and wouldn't be reported for neglecting to feed the kids! Anyway, I have signed up for April and looking forward to beating my march totals. Away for a week though so spending money but if I take into account grocery shop saved and a little extra should all be good. I had so many things to pay for, proud to have got through!

    See you in April!

    Hello all,

Been absent this weekend, tut tut!

£33 spent on shopping on Saturday.
£30 spent on our pub walk (including a meal out) Saturday afternoon and 10 miles covered.
MIL treated us to Sunday lunch yesterday, we just paid for drinks.
£23 of the weekly budget left.

Off to find the April challenge, see you there x

    My final totals

    Food: 116.51
    Transport: 47
    Gifts: 19.42
    Miscellaneous: 110.43

    Grand total £364.36
    Extra Money made: £186.47

Not too bad but I have been spending far too much on food, especially takeaways and those 'nipping to the shop for chocolate occasions'! Will try and cut that down in April.
