Well another SFD today so i think that's 20 for March, not bad going I think. Paid £800 off CC2 then the normal DD will come off on 5th. Minimum pmt on CC3. Seems like a long old month, but April is going to be long too, so head down and get on with it! Seems we will be getting a new challenge though, so that should keep us all going. xMFIT -T5 #420

Just a quick one from me, SFD today so will update in a minute, another one on the way to bed, have to work over Easter, all 6-2's but at least I have Sunday off as we're not allowed to open - yipee!!!
I was paid last Friday, 4 weekly, but have converted all my accounts to cal monthly so I can keep up with the monthly challanges!!!! so I will go to take all my money out on Apr 1st and put in various purses and put card away safe, otherwise I would get confused - and it doesnt take much these days

Abundant sorry but had to laugh at your story. Just pretend it never happened when you go back, they see so many people and might not remember.
Siouxsie i got paid today and I know I had £30 pounds left in my account from March and try to only spend that now till I start my April budgets.
Got a nightout tomorrow and 2year old DS will have his first sleepover at a friends (usually short of babysitters as no relatives here) which will be a novelty for us too . Will see how it goes and whether we'll have get him at night or be able to stay out. Will try to get the last bus to save taxi money.
We're away for a long weekend at the start of April to the family in Germany. That should keep grocery bills down till the 8th as I try to make do till then.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

I got paid yesterday and reset all my budgets to zero but there are still a few days left of this challenge. Since I have to get food, petrol and a night out (all coming from April's budgets) before Monday (1 April) I decided to take all the money that was in my various purses (about £8ish) and put it in a jar. I'll either save it for a treat sometime, or dip into it if my budgets fall short.
YES!!!! I get paid on 25th and so hard notto dip into that oney till 1st. However, whatever I spend this weekend on shopping I will take out of April budget so that its not just 'floating' money.
Sun is shining and feeling positive!

MORNING!!!!
Oh my GOODNESS! Abundant you poor thing!!! You should get a better moisturiser I think!! :rotfl:
Sorry I haven't updated since yesterday..I went trudging around town and located my suitcases in TK Maxx. They much have got a new delivery since the day before and I got a large "Skyflit Lightweight" suitcase and a smaller than cabin one for £80. My limit. Made me happy!!!
I found cheap "Belvoir Elderflower" posh bottles of drink for my birthday party so bough 15 bottles and acquired another 3 people that will be attending...
Now then... my story from yesterday..A Vitamix story for those who know what it is....
Ahem..... Visited friend with Vitamix for a brainstorm session, food, chat and mixing. She had no kitchen lights and hubby went to B&Q late that evening to get bulbs. We decided to create a weird smoothy from the bits I grabbed out of my fridge and the lighting shining through from another room.... it was too bulky for the little free jug she was given.. she signalled at me to use the bigger one as she took a phone call...
I poured said fruit into larger jug removing the lid and plunger... we switched it on. It didn't work, she wondered where the plug was for the lid... we switched it on again.. cue panic. The plug for the middle of the lid was inside and had just been blended....PANIC!!!!!
The plug was attached to a blade on the £200 jug... the actual Vitamix wouldn't switch on..PANIC!!!!
Hubby returned and got the plug off the blade inside the jub - no damage to blades - PHEW!!!
45 minutes later the Vitamix came back on - PHEW!!!
Question - do I pay £30 for the new plug or offer half?
I nearly died - she was so lovely. Told me to stop panicking and it was only a "thing". I think I will buy the plug for her anyway ... its the least I could do....but seriously what a panic and stress...
Right I am off to clean...“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0 -
Oh Abundant, thats so funny!!! No wimping out and not going back now, that just would not be allowed! And I bet the gym have seen far worse ...
Kat poor you. I think if it was me I would offer to pay for it and see what she says. £30 seems a lot for a plug though?
Well I am working today. Just having a little lunch break and then I need to get on again, rapidly losing motivation but I have got some reports that need to be done for the middle of next week and the sooner I get them done the better.
I am out tonight but I am driving so it should be a cheap night. Right, need to get on before I loose what little motivation I have got!0 -
Hey All...

Well... yesterday went out for a well deserved pub drink with friends from work. Budget £10. Got to pub - absolutely packed (must've been a function). Plans scuppered we decided to head to town instead. £40 and over 7 hours later got home.
I don't feel very well today funnily enough.
Atleast this means a SFD day today.
Abundant - oh dear. If you makes you feel any better i very nearly flashed my pants at work the other day (lent over in a dress), until a friend came over to warn me. Went very red.
NSK - i'd be mortified! Think i'd offer to pay it all and hope they refuse lol.:rudolf: DF by Xmas 2018: #83 £8,250/£15,000 55% :rudolf:
