Eugh men! OH has an interview today, he swans home from uni at 12:40 hasn't looked up anything about the company, hasn't got anything ready, no idea when his train is or where the place is erggghhh!
Luckily I looked up trains last night, told him 13:47 to get there for 3pm.....rushes around like headless chicken, pouring with rain outside, lost tie, suit almost too small now for his belly too!!! Then moans because I tell him he needs to go to the gym...what? he does!
Drop him at train station with 5 minutes to spare....I get home, look up train, I got the times wrong he should have been there at 13:30...well if he'd left at 10 past it wouldn't have mattered anyway....so now he's wasted £20 and had to drive there. He better ruddy get it!

Otherwise I'm having a sfd :D spending it networking on social places to get more likes and followers for my new business venture. It's quite fun, although very tempting to buy things!!!

Mancman - I get £40 + 1hrs pay regardless of whether I'm called, then weekdays is worked hours at time and weekends is worked hours at time and a half. Weekends is 2 shifts a day, so daytime and nighttime.

Mayfair - I think you are doing family fortunes or something how exciting :) and congratulations on your current win.

NSK - do you not keep your oyster in something that you never leave behind? I always kept mine in the same pocket of my bag.

Oh Kerri! Poor dopey OH...:).. I have my fingers crossed for him. And to think I actually want one of these. :rotfl:...

My Oyster floats from bag to bag. I should keep it in my biking jacket but never do. When I don't need it it's there and vice versa. I KNOW full well to get planned the night before, when I don't I kick myself and eventually learn there are something that have to be done the night before....hair in rollers, charge phone, make lunch, choose clothes, change cat water and PACK OYSTER JUST IN CASE...:)

  • Afternoon Peeps!

Swimming today - ended up running late due to a numpty driving at 20 miles per hour in front of me for half the way - I was putting it down to being elderly but no - he finally pulled in when we got to town and was chatting on his phone!! Words fail me - polite ones anyway :p

Swimming was good - DS loves his lesson and I managed to rattle up and down the big pool so all good.

Another NSD here although I have plans afoot.... Now Mr S have kindly sent me money off weekly shop vouchers - now I know its a gimmic however £20 of free shopping this month is not to be sniffed at but as I have most dinners in the freezer I dont plan to spend enough to qualify on this months shopping so I have a plan.... in addition to the bits for this month I plan to purchase some of next months shopping in advance - obviously the tins etc and freezer stuff that keeps. Kat I am a little scared that you are going to tell me off but free food is free food and I will not go over budget either this month or next. In short Mr S are offering me £52 in total - I will stick to budget and take the "cash". The added bonus is our nearest Mr S is in the big smoke where DH goes to work - so guess who gets sent to the shops to save the petrol :rotfl: I add to a basket then copy paste the basket into his email so he has the pictures - it worked like a charm last time they sent me these goodies!!:D

DD Joint Birthday Party tomorrow - cakes to make tonight!! Finished the last apron pressie thing of the month last night - that was 6 for march which was hard work but meant I didnt spend £30 on 6 little presents. The material I was using was bought for me by my Mum for my birthday so all good!

Hugs to those who need them and woo hoos to those doing well!!

    Love to all

....And now you are preparing to give away your free time to catch crazy people who will tell you they are second in line to the throne, drunks who will vomit in your nee-naw car and endless reems of paper-work and justifications after someone steals a slab of meat from Iceland...... I take my hat off to you Sir....:T

This made me LOL alot. I just have visions of someone running from Iceland with a piece of meat the size of an actual paving slab lol.
  • Hello all! Checking in for today. NSD planned, off to London to see the BF this weekend, and hoping to hang onto my cash. He's quite used to me being tight now :rotfl: besides he earns more than me and he doesn't pay rent so I don't feel so bad (still feel a little bad . . . but that's the bit of motivation to become DF)

Sunday will be meeting a friend for her birthday. HM present (ceramics class beinging to pay it's way :T) and when I was digging through my box of recycled ribbons for prettifying the wrapping I found a card I'd bought in October with her in mind. :money: We're going for "lunch" at 3.30pm :rotfl: what is the afternoon equivalent of brunch? "Lunner" doesn't sound that appealing. And it's not tea in the traditional sense, although I s'pose it should be.

OK, back on topic . . . spent a little while setting up my debts on my spreadsheet at lunch today. If I've done it right it sould automatically update with the correct interest and payments every month. We'll see if it tallys in due course.

    Happy Friday everyone
