Hi all
Need to sit down and update my spreadsheets properly tomorrow, been so busy that I havent had time to do it. Took the doggie to the vets today but he wasnt happy about the idea and tried to eat the vet - so we came away without him having anything done! On the plus side I didnt spend anything but we may need to buy him a muzzle and try again. He is such a sweetie but soooo scared of the vets.
I need to do my fortnightly food shop on Thursday and definitely need to keep it in budget. I could also do with my hair cutting which I havent really accounted for anywhere. Could just do with a couple of hundred pounds to magically appear in my bank account this month! We went out for lunch on mothers day which I regret a bit now, even though we only spent £30 for the four of us.
Siouxsie my brother can never believe how cheap it is "up North" when he comes to visit. There are some advantages of living out in the sticks I guess.0 -
Evening all
Had a little spend today, 4pt milk and bread(which was a yellow sticker down to 20p), but had zero of either in so a 'must do'....

I am happy to report I have paid £200 off of my c/c this morning thanks to BA. Got a mate in the tyre business looking at my tyres at the weekend so he can tell me if they can wait or not, which should tell me if I need to spend money on them or if I can put on c/c.
Took the fiancee out last night for dinner cost £30 but that was more of a celebration of a) passed medical, b) compensation from BA.
I have'nt told her about my compensation money because its mainly going to be used to pay off the C/C so wont miss the money anyways.
Hope everyone has a frugal day:beer:0 -

Whao, someone's in a good mood :rotfl:. Well, actually it's the same here. It's lovely and sunny so I cycled to work. Also I had enough of feeling sorry for myself and making excuses especially for smoking (daily drag, a little reward etc). So this morning instead of dressing in my usual slouchy fleece, baggy jeans and sneakers (get away with that in a lab) I put on my skinny jeans a nicish top, boots and even a ring and a necklace (still casual though) and feel loads better already. Now I just have to keep that feeling till bed time as I usually crumble after work. But I got my needle work at the ready and might even paint my nails which I haven't done in years. Gonna sort out my wardrobe tonight too (nothing sell-worthy but quite a few worn looking things that I keep wearing but really shouldn't, need to go). Hopefully this will translate into feeling better about myself and not needing little fixes like snack and fags. And I'm at that age anyway where I should look a bit less studenty and more grown up

All these happy people sorry don't fall into that club today. Not felt great since yday, tummy feels terrible and a fever. Well made it into work hey ho, not worth the teasing if I call in sick. Perhaps I should have ate the dog biccies Kat might have felt better.
Yday spent 6.86 oops, yeah insoles work great 2.15 went for the scholl ones, foot feels so much better as being doing exercises recommended on line as well, however in superdrug woolley pretty polly tights 95p from 8 quid so what was a girl to do.?? Gave up and bought some decent toothpaste really tried to use the aldi one up but it tasted awful. Then dog biccies sure this dog is having too many monitoring them from now.
Today I need milk and bread not that I am capable of food and legs feel like jelly. Roll on hometime sorry to break up the positive happy thread. Realise now in my budget I need to include a fun one as any days/ night out are being stuffed into my food budget !!!!
Probably set by credit card target figure slightly high this month. Will try ebaying when feel better see if I can make extra on there.

Calling14 - the whole idea of this thread is to check-in with highs and lows. If you are feeling terrible you have every right to tell us. I would prefer to be at home having a nap but what can a girl do - nowt! So don't feel bad about feeling bad and sharing... really hope you feel better soon, are able to resist the dog biscuits and the happiness returns for you soon!!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.
