    Hi everyone,
Mancman - congratulations on your weight loss and medical, all that hard work has paid off:j:j:j

A sfd for me today, I was going to go out as the parcel I was waiting in for came before 9.30am but its been snowing on and off all day so I decided to stay in and do housework and then relax:)

Had curry for tea and tomorrow Im back to the fish. I wish I could get more enthusiastic about it but to be honest Im not all that keen on fish:(

It seems if this debt journey is one step forwards two backwards this month as Ive been reworking my accounts and its not as healthy as I thought it was, at least its done now and Im not ignoring it:o

    Onwards and upwards I hope

  • Not a SFD today so still 7/25. Keeping a close eye on spends and reading everyone's progress reports is really inspiring. Can't wait for this month to be done and final payment on a largish direct debit goes out. Extra £250 a month off the cards. Bonus due end of April will go the same way. As will the pay rise. So glad I found this site or I would now be planning what to spend this extra monies on. Thanks, Kat,you are awesome.

Well apart from being freezing cold way out west all is well at LAGL cottage. Gearing up for DD birthday later this week - her excitement is amazing :rotfl: None of our family live local so the presents have been landing by post for the last week or so and have been hidden away - she is a lucky girl!

Fleabay local bidder suprisingly has coughed up including postage and I have posted the items - at one point he was suggesting that I should deliver  on a normal day it would have been a 16 mile round trip but with the road closed I wont be heading that way if I can help it :D Will wait and see what the feedback is like and deal with that if I have to :D

Anyway - another NSD today - soup for lunch, beef casserole for tea with dumplings - its cold out there!!

    Love to all

Grrr, just lost my post because the site logged me out.

Anyway, again, today should be a NSD and the beef stew (just noticed we'll have the same tea LAGL) is bubbling away at home in the slow cooker. A rather wintry dish but then everything is still covered in snow. Where is spring, sick of having to pay for heating and my seedlings don't like the cold either.

Already have a bid on two ebay items that end on Sunday, unusual. But only one or two watchers so that might be the sale price :(. Had to increase the price for another item after I saw what it went for in other auctions, and the two watchers are still there :o.

    Have a good day

  • Beef stew - Calling if we could post you some we would! Also plantar Fascia is a pig - I bought the insoles last year and they worked wonders - defo a necessary spend - I have heard of people getting them on prescription but with prescription charges buying them online could well be cheaper!

:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j for Mancman!! Happy days, we knew you could do it! YAYYYYYY!

I've lost track of my NSD's today. My tracking is up the spout this month. I KNOW I'm doing well though. I know i've had 2x less that £40.00 food shops, only £20.00 on petrol, £18 on eBay and some swagbucks vouchers. I know they don't count.... but still!

The only 'unplanned' spend I've had is the £40.00 outlay on the weekend. It went well, so... fingers crossed :D

Quick question for you.... Our energy bill came in. The winter one. Yes, that one. Well, it transpires we're £50 in credit :j The question is.... how do I get that money?? I want it, technically it's mine lol. I don't want it to carry over. Can I just ring them and tell them to pay me it?

All this talk of food is making me hungry! Is it lunchtime yet?

SFD no. 8 for me. Nowt else to report, which is probably a good thing.

Is it time for lunch, Mayfair? I don't know but I'm eating mine as I read through the forums! :rotfl:

L2B, I know what you mean - I'm got out of the habit, need to get it back into my routine. Tried to go to the gym last night, and got there an realised - no sports bra! The running is the best bit (I only do weights and core strength cos it's good for me!) but it's too sore to do without a proper bra. Long term damage I'm not willing to risk! :rotfl:
