Ok...................so I have good news :) ...............and bad news :(

The good news is I didn't succumb last night and made my 3rd sfd! :D

I had my hair done today (as planned) and popped to the shop to get some milk, kitchen towels and cereal bars for ds2 snack time at school (also as planned).

So here comes the bad news.................the morning spend seemed to set me off :( When I got home I did an online shop with mr t (using a voucher I was sent, there was only a few bits I sort of needed, so really shouldn't of spent £50). THEN (told you it was bad)! I saw the skincare range I use had an offer on and proceeded to spend £43 on stuff I will use but didn't need right now (in my defence I have ridiculously sensitive skin and react to so many products this is the only skincare range I can use safely).
I'm feeling quite horrible and disgusted with myself and shall go and sit on the naughty step and think about what I've done..................

    Tomorrow WILL be better

    Have a great evening all

    xx

Mayfair or any of the others in the know, do you know how much cheese, pots and onion?

Will pop back later but with free iPhones and exciting weekends away this week looks to be a good one!

SFD here so very pleased with myself! Caught up with a friend and invited her to mine rather than the usual coffee, cake, coffe trap in one of usual haunts :)

I am having my tomato special sauce potato bake tonight: roasted veg pur!ed down with tinned tomatoes - lovely! I make big batches for freezer and depending on how frugal I am being I will adapt it for meals so sometimes on its own with cooked pasta, sometimes pasta bake and if really going for it will add diced fried chicken and tinned cherry tomatoes. On its own I can feed 4 three times for a fiver! Very MSE :)

Just a quick from me tonight as DD3 is coming here to bury her hamster in the garden, he was nearly 2 1/2 years old, so lived a good long life for a hammy, anyway she wants him buried here, so shes on her way.
Visited dentist this am, and given the all clear for the next 6 months, cost 17.00 but that was already budgeted for:). Done 2 loads of washing and they have dried outside, and been working in the garden, after having some trees chopped down at the weekend and sorting seeds etc out for planting and then did some housework, cleaned the upstairs - downstairs tomorrow. So feel worn out now, just going to finish my book and do some lurking on comp later.
    Oh was a SFD today:)

Just a quick one... what do I put on the potato's and onions ( and cheese ) to stop it going dry... I only have milk in the house no yoghurt..?

EDIT = I don't have enough potatoes. SO.. it shall be two cups of brown rice cooked, mixed with a cup of frozen corn, 1 red onion, 1 fresh tomato, 1 egg, 1.5 cups of cheese, a slice of chopped fake ham, and four chopped cooked veggie sausages or as many as I can fit in....still have enough for another melange style bake this week!!!

Mayfair - don't mind you asking AT ALL! This is what we are here for. I am currently paying £433 all inclusive and the new rent will be £450 all inclusive if it all goes well on Friday!

Jonsey - no matter how MSE we are supposed to be I do not advocate starving to death or poisoning yourself. Money well spent. Join me though- make a potato bake tonight??...ha!..(sorry if I got your colour wrong I can never tell gender with these MSE names )...

    Hey all...

Ha ha... no excuses re. the salad - it has to have mold on and be putrfying before you are allowed to throw it away... that was in the small print at the start of the challenge ha ha!!!

    Today = SFD number 2

I have managed to secure some overtime (2 shifts or so a month) for the next couple of months which is great news and will hopefully bring me nearer my goal.

I sat down last night and *finally* got my head around ISAs!!! As all my debts are being repaid at 0% any spare money I have is going into an ISA and will be earning me money throughout the year until I have enough to clear the debts off in one lump sum... Bargain!!!

If any of you have savings in regular savings accounts - do read the section on the main MSE website about saving when you have debts, and also the ISA guides... they're really helpful...

    Have a great evening everyone!!!

    WOW NSK!!!

£450 p/month all in for London? That's really good!!! I always imagined living in London would be horrendously expensive - but knowing that makes it even more tempting to think about a move!!! I'd like to live in SW London (I like Vauxhall for night life) but otherwise don't really know the different areas...

Can you recommend any resources I could look at to help me decide...? Ideally I'd like somewhere a bit like Glastonbury ha ha - a bit hippy/spiritual/alternative... not a million miles from Vauxhall or Soho or London Bridge... oh and near a hospital ha ha!!! Oh - and if the neighbours could be handsome chippendales (single of course!) then that would be great...

    ;)

Abundant you need to look at places that need guardians. You are basically looking after an empty council flat that they don't want squatters to break into - the only down side is they can move you at minimal notice. These monthly prices can be right down to £300 a month though....Its basically called being a "property guardian"... otherwise Vauxhall is EXPENSIVE as its so close to the water and amenities... Soho is even more expensive... but if you are willing to share then that's even better!!!
