Hi Warriors
I nearly made it yesterday but, due to lack of organisation, I had lunch at a student refectory. Only cost £1.85 though. I managed to resist temptation on my way home (I never buy anything on my way in as I am still sleep). I pass over 30 food and drink outlets! I know it is my choice wether to buy or not and they are not going to get me in future - I had a banana.:)
I made lunch for today last night and guess where it is? Still in the fridge.:rotfl: I think I am better getting a stock of beans and eggs etc in at work. Having 2 jobs (temporarily, until I have exterminated this debt) makes organisation more difficult but I will rise to the challenge. I must remember that every penny saved means I can work less in the future.

Good Morning Chickadees...
How are we all this fine morning??... I have a dead iphone and I am not happy. It won't charge on a few different chargers, even from my laptop. now I am looking at a £25 bill for a new battery or charging unit from a colleague who does this on the side.. however I shall ring O2 and see what they can do...
Other than that I was nearly a naughty miserable NSK and nearly had canteen porridge... someone else bought it for me though...:T...( they offered a tea and i opted for porridge - genius I am )...
So hope we all have a splendid start to the day - more so than mine... aiming for another SFD....

Right, guys, have a date with eBay. Must concentrate on making money. Amazing how much time setting up good habits takes! Just need it to be routine and am sure it won't take so long.

Good morning,
Oh I like this march thread a lot, people checking in daily and keeping each other motivated and sharing daily struggles and successes. I left my wallet at home today so it'll be an NSD. Tea will be fajitas (gonna try making soured cream with single cream plus lemon juice as I'm not buying it and we got everything else in). I'm off tomorrow but got the dentist with the wee man in the morning and just realised that might cost me a tennerbut after that I'll pick up the overpaid christmas nursery fees

Going to be a spend day - just got this from DH - will pop to M when I take DD to swimming lesson later - he's getting desperate!! :rotfl:

A couple of bids already on my mammoth fleabay listing and lots being watched - ever hopeful!! But why oh why is there always one buyer who doesn't pay for their item straight away - everything else from last Sunday is gone - apart from one!! Grrrrr!!
Hope you are all having a good day, LAGL xx :T:TDebt free on the 28/05/130 -

I missed Superscrimpers last night; was still finishing dinner. So I don't know what oven cleaner they advertised, but (and I can't believe I'm about to do this, so sad!) I can recommend 0ven Prid3. I used it last week when I was doing the great house clean for handing back my rental property and it was as easy as the packet claims. Also I bought it on discount in 4ldi so very MSE :money: Didn't half make me wonder what they put in it though! Must do terrible things to the environment.
Nothing much to report here: another NSD planned today. I've got a works do tonight, all paid for though, bowling and a (horse?) burger. Should be fun and doesn't usually go on too late so should be able to do some unpacking/eBay prep tonight.

Afternoon all!
Finally got time for a proper catch up!
So, SFD 3. We had a small food shop to the tune of £36.25 - £10 of that was on loo roll, it was on such a good offer, we should be set for the year now!
I have discovered the wonders of BUYing on ebay. So far I'd only sold. I had sales finish on Sunday to the tune of £20.00 and with that 'money' managed to get 2x short dresses, 2x shorts 1x bikini and 1x maxi dress for the jollydays (summer clothing needed a top up, I don't have summer clothes, I live in jeans all year round, last summer clothes shop was about 3.5 years ago!) So for me it was a right win, cheaper than Primark! :j Now just to convince the boy......
Paid off a chuck of a hen do in the summer that's due as well. And sold something on Facebook that covered that! YAY!
So it's happy days in our house. Still chipping away. I must admit that I was worried when we booked the holiday that it would be so much of a release on the purse strings that I would loose all control but that hasn't happened. If anything, i'm being even MORE restrained than I was!
And finally, sorry I haven't been as here as I usually am. I promise that I will be better
Lots of love
Oh.. and... Please can someone share a lovely cheap meal idea that isn't a stew or casserole or Tomato pasta? That potato and cheese pie goes down so well in our house, there must be a few more gems from you lot that are waiting to come out!!!!!0 -
Mayfair, potato and cheese pie sounds lovely! Do you have the link?Happiness is wanting what you have...0
