Hurrah Abundant, Overtime = good! Overspending = bad!!! And, a SFD is always a good thing
I'm chalking up day 4 of 4...hoping to get through til Wednesday before I need to break the seal on my purse. I had a nice easy day of making money and managed to find a crisp £5 note lying by the side of the roadIt's currently sitting by my bed but I'll take it to the bank tomorrow and transfer it to my Capital One Visa...every penny helps (and I just got 500 of them free!!)
Now, should I carry on with my spring clean clear out that I started a few hours ago (before I stopped for a coffee break) or quit while the place looks like a bomb site and go to yoga instead? Bah, yoga can wait!0 -

Hi all
Well busy day today, annoyed I missed a sfd because we needed toothpaste surely I could have planned that better  the dogs are all back to normal now after the deer episode, I think my kids will be the least squeamish people ever when they grow up,having to deal with the organs, then the head and this morning at breakfast the last of the repocussions.
Not much exciting to report, ABUNDANCE God love you but listen to mama Kat and a bargain is only a bargain if you need IT! Dont let the naughty supermarkets drag you in with their offers on pointsBut hugs and dont go cos we will miss you:p and you did very well not succumbing to tatt in the 99p shop :T
It WILL be a SFD tomorrow!0 -
Evening all - quick check in before card making in front of superscrimpers....
So my second SFD - still no tea bags but DH hasn't mentioned it so neither have I
I fear I may have to now budget for a new cooker and I'm blaming this challenge!!I have noticed that due to de-cluttering etc there are a fair few of us cleaning like nutters! Anyway I've only gone and cleaned my oven.:eek: This was a mammoth task as it has been a long time coming - its an ancient beast of a thing that was in the house when we moved here and to be honest Ive been hoping it would go to the cooker heaven so I could have a nice new one. But now it is clean - my hands are a mess - and just to spite me there is a fair chance that it will now go bang to get its own back as I suspect it was the baked on stuff that was holding it all together!!
Right off to the sofa......

Evening everyone,
Happy to declare another SFD, which means I am now at SFD 3! My budgets are -
- Food £40/£180
- Petrol £57/£240
- Planned spends £176/£250
The planned spends is looking bad, but I did do most of what I needed to on 1st March, so still on target.
I have made £34 mystery shopping so far - can I count this money towards the £100 I need to make this month?
Jody2MBNA credit card £3529.14
House extension loan £30238.90
Debt free date September 2016 but would really like to make it happen sooner!0 -
Checking in, nearly a SFD, spent 60p on milk for work as my turn to buy.
Planning definitely helps with no spends and making up packed lunches & snacks the night before.0 -
Hi all
Just checking in and having a quick skim through as I should really be doing other things. Abundant, I have been around here for quite a long time and I can definitely say that you WILL fall off the debt free wagon from time to time. Dont lose hope, we will help you back up and you are still with us. Learn from your mistakes and move on, thats what counts.
Poodlegal, my doggie brought me what I thought was a stick once and I was about to pick it up and throw it for him when I realised it was part of a deers leg!!! Yuk.
Been working this morning, dog walking this afternoon so other than some ham for packed lunches which we needed I havent bought anything. Out for tea tomorrow which is a bonus.
Busy day tomorrow, need to get DS into bed and tidy up a bit.0 -

Just checking in with spend free day #3. Find it much easier not to spend when am busy at work.
Used my first batch of frozen mashed potato to feed the hoards this evening - how have I survived so many years with children not knowing that I could freeze mash!!!!!
Definately enjoying the more strict rules!!! I work better with strict boundaries!!!!!!!!!!!
