We took the dogs out for a lovely walk but they dissapeared off and found a dead deer, must have not been dead long as one of the dogs appeared with its heart, another with its liver (or something_pale_) and me and the kids were trying to get them away. About 10 mins later we let the dogs off again only for the biggest dog to dissapear off and return with the deers head in his mouth:eek:

Hi all, SFD for me today - couldn't decide if buying tobacco was included so have decided not to buy any tonight to keep SF and aiming to give up from the morning :)
I have all the usual stuff for giving up so why not?
I was taken for lunch today too so felt truly spoiled as no budget for that and now being treated to a bottle of wine in exchange for supper, lovely!
Lovely to hear about all the support and encouragement you give each other and keen to join in but my PC is down at the moment so on itty bitty screen.

    Just keep swimming :)

  • Hi All,

SFD for me today, checked my bank balance & bills, changed mobile plan so shouldn't have such an expensive bill next month.

Hoping only spends this week will be hair cut & colour and petrol as have cupboards & fridge overflowing with food, so plenty for a packed lunch so avoid temptation of coffee shops!

    EH xx

Checking in for day 3, and as predicted, spent money :( I sadly went over my milk and bread, and went all out getting a magazine each for the kids :( This means another £10 off my budget. Work this week should hopefully give me a few non spend days as its not the kind of place I can escape to the shops.

Oh good grief! Is anyone else as tired as I am. It only took a jolly great 5.5 hours to get home from Dorset having missed a train in London and having to wait an hour for another ....freezing my bits off..

Anyhoo... I have only spent money on a train ticket on Friday and Sunday and a few (very very cheap) drinks on Saturday night. And when I say cheap its 85p for a J20..:T! I am in superb agony though..legs and tummy muscles from mandatory exercise over the passed two days.. and worse still blisters on both heels that are so deep and wide I feel like a proper cripple!

However it's been great reading what you have all been up too.. food spends, naughty Amazon spends, dogs running away with internal deer organs??...:rotfl:..racking up the SFD's... and the amazing positive vibe eminating from you all!!

I am aiming for a Mr T run for some serious "Everyday Value" foodage tomorrow as like someone of you I have 4-5 onions, jam, frozen bread and some cheese!!

But right now I need to snooze... so well done to you all!!!:T:T:T:T

Evening everyone  Aren't we doing well? Loving the positive energy!!

Glad you got home safely kat, although it sounds like a stonking journey - well done for not caving and buying something hot along the way!

I have managed to hang on to my clean sheet and can declare my 3rd SFD. Technically I spent money but it's all reimbursed in few weeks so it's not technically a spend. Somebody kindly left a copy of yesterday's Times on the train and after a quick flick through it, I'm now 1 voucher richer :) There was a voucher for free hot drink at EAT so I ripped it out, and shall indulge in a free hot chocolate (or a rather better for my waist black coffee - somehow a free hot chocolate seems better value!!) when I'm pounding the streets of London later this week.

Lots of ebay listings ending tonight but so far no bids :( Shall I re-list them for 99p or hang on for another free listings weekend? Any ebay money made goes straight to the debt so really, I should be trying to get as much as I can for all m stuff. Hmm, maybe I'll list a few things at 99p and save the others? Maybe a dozen bidding wars will start in the next 30 minutes and everything will sell :D Maybe not! Ah well, I'll just wait and see....

    Evening peeps.

Lovely reading your updates and to see all the new challengers along with the familiar ones. Lots of positive stuff, well done you.

I had a SFD today, my first. I feel a bit of a fraud as hubby bought me a coffee at the leisure centre and then a takeaway and beer but I didn't spend it! We really should make more of a joint effort though. Been out to deliver 2 avon orders this evening and sold a dress on eBay for a fiver so all in all a good day. Been sorting out my fridge and doing an inventory. Tomorrow is meal plan day.

Evening all - well done on sfds, well done amazing grannys - as a mum of little ones you are worth your weight in gold!! Still smiling at the alfresco venison - dogs!! Our retriever once decided to run around with someones chicken - didn't hurt it but not one of his finest moments :)

Anyway - can report a sfd - my first!! Yay. Also sold some stuff on fleabay and currently have 40 items listed - flippin shattered from that lot!!

Amusing moment of the day was kids playing duck, duck, goose with just the two of them.... If you know the game trust me this will never work!

Onwards and upwards - was hoping for a sfd tomorrow but out of tea bags and husband is launching a mutiny!!

Keep smiling and good to have you back Kat :)

I was secretly praising the dogs for finding free food! That was until a few hours later when the venison made its comeback
