Hi all, hope you are enjoying your weekends so far
A low spend day for me, a few things from here and there for upcoming birthdays, which were budgeted for. The bag of Mini Eggs was not budgeted for, however, but was very tasty. Cutting all those little "extras" out is very hard, I am getting there though.
Had a lovely trip to the cinema too which was free with points card and free nachos from O2 priority rewards so that was a lovely MSE way to spend the afternoon. Planning to just potter around and relax in the house tomorrow so hopefully a no spend day.0 -
Confession time......me and a bottle of wine and a mini shopping spree on amazon. I figured it was something i needed to buy and had budgetted for so as i had already had a spendy day then it wasn't a loss.

Friday, went to WW and lost a 1 & half lbs but also lost a few £££s by buying their magazine and some delish choccy bars:o, afterwards though, I wish I hadn't, this was a waste of a spend day......
Today will be a sfd as pottering this morning and work this pm. Also have a few bits ending on fleabay today, but were only put on at 50p/99p so Im not expecting a windfall anytime soon.

Morning all
Yesterday was a good day for me - and that was due to this thread. In the morning took DD to her swimming lesson. Having had no cuppa or breakfast before leaving (me, not DD) I was very tempted to grab a cuppa there, but I resisted with the thoughts of this thread in my mind.
Then we all went over to visit family, so again free. OH kept hinting at a take away in the evening, but this is a big spend area for us. We can have 2 in a week sometimes, which can be about £30 a week. I am trying to limit it to 1 a month as I want to buy a house more (especially as I have depressingly seen a great one that we dont have the deposit for:( So I cooked 2 different dinners for us - spag bol for me and the kids and tacos for OH. Used up all the beef and filled it out with chopped tomatoes and pasata, so make enoiugh for a portion of chilli to go with a jacket potato for a work lunch monday and 3 individual lasagnas for the freezer
1 NSD for me:)
Today won't be a NSD for us as we need bread and milk, but if we go to the park then that will hopefully be it! Good luck today all. x£2 Savers club £0/£150

Morning all - there's a sniff of success on this thread isn't there. Our army marches on hope, optimism and determination!
Should be SFD 3 today - planning to work from home and walk the dogs. I also need to list some more items on ebay - its not going well on that front and I haven't had a bid for 2 weeks now but some items are finishing today so I am ploughing on. If I don't list then no one will bid!!
Onward and upwards as General Kat would say!44 day challenge

Good Morning everyone
Well, decided to forget asda y'day, saturday afternoon always so busy, found noodles an sauce in cupboard so had that instead. CATS was awesome, daughter brought bag of giant buttons and bottles of water, so SFD was achieved after all.

Hello,
So far an NSD here. Went to the local zoo/wildlife park and hubby paid but as he wanted to buy DS an overpriced cuddly toy at the exit he had to pay for that too. Off to the beach and play park later, hopefully won't need to spend there.
Definitely need to be strict the next couple of months as we just went through a list of what's coming up -a wedding in June, a few 40th in April/May including Hubby's and theyre planning a weekend away, DS 2nd birthday, going home to my dad's (65th, mostly paid for already)....
Hubby is away Tuesday and Wednesday. Better raid the house for more stuff to eBay if we want to have money left for our own wedging etcDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
En route to the land of the living! Those I've missed will be added and numbered tonight and updates by the ready. I've missed my MSE chickadees and have been kept supremely busy!! Hope everyone is fine and dandy and I'll be reading the last of the updates soon but on a coach now and will quite likely get sick if I do it now!!
More soon...
