You might have had 40Kgs allowance, but not in one case? A case can't weigh more than 32kg.0

anyone able to help? flew with Nouvelair Tunisie last June and our flight was delayed by 4 hours 30 mins. wrote to airline with complaint and got no reply. after several weeks filled in forms and sent them off to CAA, received reply today saying that airline has failed to respond to them also. email from CAA states that there is nothing more they can do! and if I want to persue it any further I will have to take it to the small claims court, is this correct?? can someone clarify this please0

Hi Vauban
Flew from Humberside to Enfidha-Hammamet 7th Jun 2013 scheduled time of departure 10:20 am actual departure time was 14:29. we were given no explanation as to delay however someone on the flight spoke to a passenger they knew who was on the delayed flight coming back to Humberside and they were told that the pilot had not turned up. We sent off all relevant forms to airline and to date have had no reply.0 -
Thank you very much for all the invalueable information you have given on this thread.
My flight from London to Mumbai was delayed 5hours 30min. They boarded everyone on time. The flight moved from the the gates towards the runway, midway pilot turned the flight back towards another gate then said there is ice on the wings, though we couldnt see any ice and weather was not as bad. after couple of hours when everyone questioned why was the engine being repaired, they said there is block in fuel valve need to be replaced. then we were served with meal, we were made to sit in the flight for 6 hours and finally it took of 6 hours late. we were served just one breakfast for rest of the 10 hour flight.
The airline says the delay was due to technical problem.
would I be eligible for a claim.

It makes no difference what the technical problem was (doubtful airline will inform you anyway) as a technical problem is commonplace and not an extraordinary circumstance.0 -

Your call really but I would issue NBA after reading through FAQ's to see what you may have to do (ie court action) if Air India just refuse to pay up as by issuing NBA you are taking on a deal of research etc and you may decide an easier (less return) route via a NWNF is for you. Do not issue a NBA unless you mean it.0
