SUCCESS!
I was going to send off the NBA tomorrow, but just now I got an email. There's nothing in it to say it's confidential, so...
For anyone who's reached this stage, do I reply with the requested card details, or will I hear more?
Would you consider giving the e-mail address of Daniel Slade of the easyJet Regulatory Support Team, I keep being fobbed off with Extraordinary Circumstances, see post from Moussaka.
Many thanks.0 -
Unfortunately it came from the anonymous claims@easyjet.com.
But it had "CAA" in the subject line so it was obviously prompted by their intervention.0 -

Hello all. Here's my story.
On the 1st August I was due to fly from Gatwick to Copenhagen. EL9MMHN confirmed booking seat 24A. I kept receiving emails to check in online prior to flight, so I tried. Unable to do so as this wasn't an available service at Gatwick.
Any way arrived at Gatwick, went to the check in and was denied boarding. Seat double booked. They couldn't get me on a another flight for 2 days!! I explained that I had flown in from Taiwan and had 5 days in England to see my mother (mother has Alzheimer's disease) and 5 days in Copenhagen to see my son. This was time I could never get back so those 2 days were precious. They couldn't help me at all and I was told to claim compensation.
My point: Because of EasyJet I was forced to pay for another flight at the airport which cost me 380 pounds one way. That was the cheapest and only flight available and it flew out from Heathrow. Of course I had to pay for transport from GTW to Heathrow 25 pounds. They are going to refund my flight and comp me 250 Euro, but will they help pay towards the BA flight?

Hi all,
I have a quick question. I put in a compensation claim against Easyjet for my flight that was delay for 5 hours. They have accepted the claim and refunded me 500 euros.
However, there were three of us travelling. Myself and my partner had paid for two seats and paid for 1 infant who was sat on my lap. Is it possible to claim for an infant as she was still a passenger and we still had to pay for her, despite her not actually taking up an actual seat on the plane.
Thanks0 -

Yes you can and they should pay compensation.0 -
I may be being premature....
Son is on board a flight that has taken off 3 hours 39 minutes late, journey is 3600km journey expected flight time is 5 hours.
So I would think the chances of making up 39 minutes on a 5 hour flight are remote.
Am I right in thinking standard compensation should be 300 EURO?
The reason for the delay is given as technical fault followed by awaiting a new crew as existing crew would be over hours.
I've text him to keep boarding passes etc; the last text before he took off said that Easyjet were offering vouchers of some kind. Should I tell him not to accept. Not sure if these were serious compensation vouchers or vouchers for in flight food. They were sat on the plane for a while, so it may have been an initial offering of food.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Should be vouchers for refreshments after 2 hours or more. Also ask him to get in writng that the delay was caused by a fault and details of the fault, AND that the crew were out of hours.
I've taken screen shots of their website.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Actual flight detail removed for privacy.
