The flight was delayed by approximately 30 hours and they have refused to give any compensation or refunds at all because they have said it was due to extraordinary circumstances (the crew was ill).
Should I take this further? I would have thought that a delay of this would be eligible for a small claims court. I feel that compensation should be awarded or at the very least a refund of the flights.
I would appreciate some thoughts.
Crew ill = easyJet problem should not be yours therefore compensation due.0 -
Thanks 111Kab. Have you any legal reasoning to back this up? I'm going to pursue this is small claims court and want to be 100% certain I have a case before pursuing it. I'd appreciate advice from other users too if anyone has any to give?0

Read Vauban's guide. No small claims case is ever 100% sure.0

Off topic but somebody who uses easyjet may know (my first time)
I got charged my flight in euros with additional charged by my bank, no option to pay in stirling, even though I was on the UK website. Is this becaue I'm flying France to Italy, no UK involvement? If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide
