think martindal might have had afew jars last night.I did yippee when I got money off botts I was getting know were.A few quid would of made me yippee because at the end of day WE ALL BEAT JET2 SO YIPPEE YIPPEE LOL

Well, whether s/he has disappeared or just delayed, I think the vitriol shown towards Bott & Co is very telling. And the fact that this employee is spreading disinformation shouldn't really surprise any of us who have followed this issue either.

As others have said, if Jet2 dont want to line the pockets of lawyers, then maybe they should treat their passengers better and stop trying to frustrate their rights? Just a thought ...

I'm in Spain at the moment and missed all of he fun with the J2 spokesperson. Not flying J2, needless to say!

Yes my wife and granddaughter have just completed Botts bank detail request, so at approaching 4 years since our delay the end is in sight for us.

Just for Martins information..... We put in our request for compensation with copies of boarding passes, booking references, names, addresses etc etc all within a few days of our delay. It made no difference to getting our claim honoured or prioritised.
But for all your trouble, I believe ours is the name you will always have cause remember.

Another success story - our flight Dalaman/East Midlands was delayed 6 hours way back in September 2010 - after careful research (yes I read right back to Page 1) and a few unsuccessful letters to Jet 2 we decided to go with Bott & Co. They kept us in the loop regularly, emailed to say Jet 2 had agreed to pay 10 days ago and money in bank account yesterday.
Thanks very much to all you regulars who have continued to provide information and assistance - I think we would still be waiting if it were not for this forum
