Why didn't they do a reshoot?

Let's hope the rest of the family get paid out now, what an unbelievable saga, makes my ordeal look like a walk in the park...

On a serious note, it is an absolute disgrace the way Jet2 have conducted themselves and even though they *may* be doing the right thing now that in no way excuses there previous deplorable behaviour.

Rons family deserve better, and hopefully his stance will ensure that thousands upon thousands of passengers will be treated with respect in the future.

Is it finally the end of your story? Let's hope so.......

I too saw the Youtube video dated 11th June where Mr Bott and Co said that JetDos were no longer gunna be sticking with this "2 years in the T&C's argument".

On the 12th June (Friday) I got a letter to sign off Bott and Co requiring my witness signature basically saying "Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's off to Court we go"

Yes, Jet2 were fighting me over the 2 years to claim in their T&C's defence.

It would seem that Jet2 have not just rolled over and capitulated on this 2 Years to Claim in the T&C's thing or else Bott and Co would still not be proceeding with Court preparation / Witness Statements at this time.

If Bott and Co would have come to some comprehensive agreement with 2 Birds / Jet2 over the 2 Years to claim issue then, i suspect, the brakes would have been thrown on all of those cases as soon as agreement was met.

I think jet2 have agreed in principle not to pursue the 2 year t's and c's thing anymore. Until Jet2 get through the long line of claimants its business as usual. If bott and co don't do what is required and in time then jet2 will get a default result.

Some of you may remember the Langford v j2 case at Bradford on the two year issue. j2 lost and the judge refused permission to appeal as being "completely without merit". I phoned the court last week and j2 have been granted leave to appeal and a date has been set for the hearing in July. So that would indicate business as usual.
