Don't go into too much detail, you'll do that on your witness statement if it gets that far.
Choose the most convenient court for you.
Thanks for the advice

Lets hope the long overdue publicity has the desired effect.
Lets hope a few more news outlets pick it up. Like the BBC Evening News.0 -
The defences are crumbling and a little bird tells me that many claims are about to be reviewed and settled. Now may be the time to request a review of your case and you might just get a pleasant surprise. Good luck to all who have stayed the course and thanks to those who have offered help and advice.0

Hi all,
After some advice please, I filed a claim to Jet2 on Sept 2014 using the template on. I received a response letter from customer care on the 30th of Sept acknowledging receipt of the correspondence stating that they would be dealing with the claim in strict date order.
That was the last correspondence I received and was wondering whether I should now follow up with another letter, sit tight and wait or would I be better of letting a claims company deal with this as I am really awful at complaining
I appreciate any help you may be able to give me with this issue.
Thanks

bert7cosby - send them a letter saying if they don't pay up within 14 days you will instruct a solicitor - do not go to a claims company .... go to a no win no fee solicitor .... there is one name often mentioned on these pages.0

After my last fob off from Jet2 ( over two years after flight..) today I have a cheque from them for £570 for my self and my wife. It has just come out of the blue my last communication was with CAA about two months ago and they have not come back to me. Been fighting them for 2 years and always been rejected out of hand with the usual excuses. Wonder how many more people will get cheques ? Hope it's everyone.0

At least one Claims Company is in deep trouble for issuing court proceedings illegally. This has led to claims being struck out. So I wholly endorse the above advice. Either deal with the claim yourself or if you don't feel up to it go to a no-win no fee solicitor. DO NOT go to a claims company.
