Can you not log in to Jet2 and retrieve details that way? Thats what I did. Had to go in to the 'older bookings' section but details were still there.

I have a 'friend' (ahem) whose account with Jet2 was terminated not too long after starting a compensation claim.

It's worth getting copies of booking references and e-checkin boarding cards before ruffling some feathers.
The above is just my opinon - which counts for nowt! You must make up your own mind.
  • Could anyone that travelled on Jet2 flight LS516 Paphos to Newcastle (was supposed to fly 6th Oct but rescheduled to 7th Oct), please contact me. I have written to Jet2 several times for compensation and have received a response from jet2 stating due to the reasons being 'extraordinary circumstances' that we are not eligible for compensation......please contact me especially if it resulted in a successful outcome. This flight was delayed more than 3 hours (19 hours!!) and the flight was rescheduled to next day......with no food or beverages on-board rescheduled flight!!!

I have written several emails, received two letters from Jet2 confirming that there can be no compensation but considering delayed of 19 hours, no food or beverages on-board flight and loss of job opportunity that I must be eligible for compensation!!

Must admit, I'm quite surprised that the details are still there when I log in! I have screen shots of the bookings saved now as that is what I originally sent to Jet2 as didn't have the boarding cards etc.

Try the Jet2 thread and have a read of the FAQs then you'll have a good idea where you stand and how you can progress a claim.

Just found out from the courts that my case against Jet2 has been 'stayed' pending the outcome of Jet2s appeal.

I did write to object, but the DJ obviously didn't agree with the points I raised.

Not at all surprised, we all know what's happening to pending cases.

I tried that - my email addresses aren't registered. I believe I made the bookings without registering/saving details.

Proceed to Court. If they request confirmation that you were on the said flight, counteract with requesting the full passenger list.
Although it's a long way off, and someone nearer the time will provide you with the wording for it, you'd be saying something like "If Jet2 deny that I was a passenger on this flight, I require the full passenger list to be provided, which shows my exclusion".
  • The reason why I logged a new thread was to contact anyone on the same flight......would like to find out if anyone from that flight has made a claim and has been successful.

And if everyone did that the forum would quickly become unusable.

You can see if anyone has mentioned this flight by searching for it in the search box above. But it won't make much of a difference to your claim anyway. If you want the compensation you'll have to do the hard work yourself - or instruct a NWNF lawyer.

In which case the information would be on the Jet2 thread or the Court success thread

Well done ASR........please keep us updated on your progress because there are many others who give up because they don't have boarding cards or a booking ref.

They've replied - to give a stock response saying they are sorry for the disappointment, they have recently changed their customer care process and still unable to progress correspondence without the booking reference.

My previous letter to them clearly stated that if they were unwilling to progress without me providing them with the booking reference, then to take this as a demand for a Subject Access Request, which they have ignored completely. I would expect legally they can't do that. I'll reply in a few days after investigating the rights regarding a SAR a bit further.
