this seems to be correct...free child place = no comp but there should still be a claim for the infant

It says even if you paid for a reduced fare for the ticket. So for the imfant I paid a supplementary fee od 35.00 does that count? The child space theh are tellingme was free although I paid the extra to prebook seats so nothing is due for her. I am unsure what to emaol them back with as seems they are wanting to wriggle out of it. I am wondeeing if to link the page in the email to them! Lol

hulahoop - looks as though you'll have to issue small claims court papers.
I'm sure we'll be able to help put together a bundle if it ever actually goes in front of judge....

Thanks! You guys are a great help. I am thinking of taking what they have offered and run with it. Seems they want to make life hard for someof us. Lol.

I am not sure if worth the hassle of chasing it via smallclaims and ending up losing what I have on its way to me. Lol.

You can't loose what you've already got! So what have you got to loose? does the accompanying letter with your cheque say "in full and final settlement"? Or similar?

You're letting them fob you off and get away with it.

Caz - hula paid both £35 admin and £8 to select a seat so it wasn't free at all. Valid claim IMHO.

The cheque hasnt arrived yet for the rest it is on its way. The email above came from the person dealing with the claim after I had forwarded him my invoice.
